  1. out of interest how far did they advance the timing? i know stock is 15degrees advanced at 650rpm? is 20degrees advanced at 650rpm doable?

  5. only way to tell if it really has 279hp@wheels is test n tune if i get a decent mph then its a correct reading if not then that dyno is very happy along with every other dyno in shootout mode cause they all give out nice readings,vls in class of there own nothin is tuffer then one..!!specially not a bloody 32 eww

  8. might i suggest your first modification for your GTR since its completey stock..is buy new headlight bulbs those orange dull bulbs r really boring and annoying by the looks in your sig.. lol

  11. the dyno is from a performance shop in brisbane so...there goes that idea haha...lol my old vl was on the road everyday...probably was more realible then the skyline when i think about it actually haha

  13. hey i bought a skyline for realibity!!! if i wanted to go fast i would have stayed in the vl..nothing beats a tuff 500rwkw street vl..i mean just go down melb cass and see how fast ur gtr is on the street specially on the princess highway;) hahaha nah jas im aiming for atleast a 16sec pass at 90mph!!!

  17. ok here goes ill try and explain best way that i can lol basically my car is stock cept for rb25det intercooler exhaust walbro pump 10psi now its running stock computer still,we plugged the laptop onto it not long ago and we could see wot ever sensor was doin etc one thing we noticed was the TPS and the VCT were both turning themselves on/off continousily when u touch the throttle maybe taking revs up to 900rpm as an example, i can also hear the ticking noise with it turning on/off when i reverse outta driveways etc,prob happens under full throttle aswell just cant hear it..what i wanna know is, could this be normal? has anyone else had any problem like this before or where do i start looking 2 solve this problem? another problem is the car runs fine during the day time on 10-12psi,then as soon as its nite time the car cant rev out will just start miss firing from 4500+onwards but the next day i can rev it out cleanly all day long... any comments r appreciated..
  18. as far as i know mobil 8000 is better octane then bp ultimate? so why would it detonate? or is that mobil synergy? 99octane?
  19. plugs are only about 4 weeks old, i pulled out platinums that it came over with from japan nah its not hitting speed limiter, ive felt that before it and its a jarring motion and basically pulls ur whole car back lol

  21. i can turn the ebc down as low as it can go 7psi stock and it still splutters and farts up thru top end. wont rev out cleanly

  23. hey mate, nah ive felt boost cut before and it nearly thru me thru the windscreen LOL the boost barely spikes above 10psi ive got it set to it creeps up and just gets to 10psi so im buggered as to wot it could be ?
  24. got a really weird problem with my r33 rb25det mods are cooler exhaust walbro pump now im using a blitz ebc and ive got stock boost setting 7psi and high which is 10psi the plugs are gapped at .8mm copper ngk plugs and ive tapped up the coils but the car will only miss fire either at nite(cold air) or early mornings(cold air) on way 2 work 8am. i drove it around for about an hour today around 1-2pm and it would rev fine on 10psi all the way to 7000rpm, driving home from mates place before 8pm colder air, it would just miss fire from 4500rpm onwards wether on high/low boost would any of you guys have any idea wot this could be? maybe AFM? thanx Justin
