  15. funny enough this is only going off my setup i run a 50mm external gate setup from my gt3582r i use to run a vacum line from the copy greddy inlet manifold, i then decided i wanted to shorten that vacum line and pickup vacum from the cooler pipe that comes off my comp housing so i got a nipple welded on, hooked up vacum so the line was now bout 25cms long instead of a mtr.. what do u know all i got was big boost creep upwards to 1.6-7bar.. put it back to inlet manifold vacum and havent had a problem since.. could be worth trying neway..
  16. Ive had a gt3076r .82 293rwkw on rb25 it was ok 2 drive wasnt wow , and the induction whistle noise got boring real fast. mates rb25 has a gt3082 .63 and its got 287rwkw and its very fun 2 go in, cooks tyres im now running gt3582r .82 and its not tuned yet but goes ok on 1.4bar , cant wait for tidy up on tune id prob go gt3582r .82
  17. like nismoid said your better off keeping the factory lines, just replace the brass washers with new ones and away u go. braided lines would be a complete waste of time on a stock turbo. and its actually very easy changing the turbo over..with the right tools
  18. where are u pulling vacum from for the wastegate?
  19. ditch the pile of shit stock bov and run no bov. there over rated and being such a soft spring they will be opening as its ramping up on boost.
  20. lol @ your turner and his recommendations gt3076r fits fine down low. im running gt3582r atm but have had the 3076r down low aswell on same setup
  21. yes i know this only a few hundred $ between them though. well if u live in vic ur f*ked then, move state and mod ur car.
  22. he could also run the external gate setup from his exhaust housing, which i done for 2yrs and is prob the best setup ive ever had, my tuner done that for $200..
  23. custom oil feed line $100 drain bolts up perfect can modify the ends of factory water lines to suit the gt30 housing think i paid $65 thru enzed with new ends so $165 for water/oil line setup. Im sure he already has a 3" dump of some sort so any NORMAL person would modify the existing dump to suit the new turbo which would be 2 parts of f**k all maybe $100 if your lucky. him replacing his manifold gasket and studs is completey up 2 him, manifold doesnt really need 2 come off unless he wants 2 go external gate setup and run it from the manifold, i had 4 studs missing for 3yrs and never leaked. tune would only need a touch up not a complete retune so around $200-300 ( like i said alot of guys pay 4 the BIG fancy workshop name 2 tune it and get shafted )
