YEAR: 1988 MODEL: GXE KM: 200,000 I HAVE POSTED SOME PICS OF THE CAR, AT THE MOMENT IT NEED A DIFF WHICH I HAVE ONE IT IS JUST WAITING TO BE PUT IN, THE REAR BREAK LINE WHICH I ALSO HAVE AND JUST NEEDS TO BE INSTALLED, I AM PUTTING THIS UP FOR SALE AS I AM LOOKING AT GETTING A NEWER CAR, I AM LOOKING AT GETTING ABOUT $3000 FOR THIS VERY CLEAN CAR BUT WILLING TO CONSIDER ANY OFFERS. THIS WOULD BE A PERFECT CAR TO DO UP AS THE BODY IS STRAIGHT AS A BLOODY RULER. THE FRONT BAR HAS A BIT TAKEN OUT OF IT ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE BAR. hay guys, i have recently spoken to a few people and from what i have heard, its possible to put the head from an R34 on to the RB30 motor, is this true!!!!!!!! i was also told that u need to change the dizzy, spark plugs, the head gasket and the leads, if this is true is this all that need to be done. i was told that it will give me higher compression, better fuel econmy, more torque, and more power when i need it. so is this true, please leave your thoughts as i am very interested in what people have to say about it and if anyone has done this please let me know if they had any trouble in doing this. cheers guys :sorcerer:

hay all, i have a r31 skyline, GXE. i was thinking about putting an alarm system in it, maybe the works, cruise control, central locking and the alarm with an immoboliser, any one know of any good brands, i went to jb hi fi and they recommonded warlock, all the wires are black with tags on them then u take off the tag when u finished installing it so its harded to cut the alarm to steal the car. any help will be great, cheers shaun

it all depends on weather your willing to wait, there are always people out there with money to throw around and will pay what ever it take to get what they want. my opinion is if you have the time to wait make a price that you wont go below, no matter what, and stick to it. it will take time but at the end of the day you will be happy and you would have got what you wanted. cheers shaun :sorcerer:

as some of you may know, i own a R31 skyline, it has a RB30 in it, 3 speed auto with over drive. i have been surfing the net for a few days now and cant seem to find out weather they made a body kit for the R31, i did see a body kit for a trx or something that fits on the R31. did any of the early R31 come out with a body kit or are there aftermarket ones. i was also woundering if there was a body kit for the skyline, if anyone had any pics of a skyline with the bodykit fitted as i am looking into getting one for my R31. also just woundering how hard it is to replace a diff center out of a R31 skyline, as i need a new one (second hand, new to me) and i was quoted $68 for a diff center, i thought that was cheap but woundered if it was hard to put them in.

if only every thing was that cheap., is a welded diff out of skyline worth anything, if so how much. cheers shaun :sorcerer:

hay all out there, i heard that you can strengthin a diff out of a pintara to put it in to a skyline just woundering weather this is possible and what you have to do to strengthin it, also i have a manual pintara and an automaitc skyline that i was thinkin about putting it in will this matter, cheers shaun also is there anyother diffs that will bolt straight in, for example a vl diff, looking to get my skyline on the road asap so it wont be a permant fix but just to get it regesitered. thanks shaun

try ebay , there are some decent pairs on there sometimes, even ones from japan, their model. depends on what ya willing to spend, cheers

hay guys and girls, just woundeering what you think about puting a stage one shift kit on my R31 gxe skyline, is it worth it, i dont want to go overboard but i want to just get that little bit more out of it, also i was thinking about a B & m mega shifter, is there a way that i can wire the overdrive buutton up to the dash, as if i get the shifter it doesent have one on it, as i live in geelong victoria, just woundering if anyone from this area new of any goop places to go and talk to a professional about all this, cheers shaun

hay guys, i finally got my skyline in my drive way. well i need a dif and a new windscreen but apart from that it all good, i was thinkin about making it a sleeper, but my income to do that and keep up with the price of petrol and the amount of driving i do is just insain, so i want to emprove the looks of the engine bay, i thought about replacing the raditor hoses with thoes steel braided ones and maybe putting one of thoes support rails that sit on top of the shockes that go accross the engine on but what else is their that i could do to make it look appealing, i want it make people go wow when they look under the hood. for thoese of you that want to know its a R31 skyline GXE 3.0 RB30 motor with an auto trans. cheers. shaun

Hay all you skyline fans, ive got my skyline finally in my drive way. i took another look under my bonnet and i thought to my self that it just gonna be to expensive to make it a sleeper, so i thought to my self about making it look nice, like changing the radiator hoeses to the steel braided ones, but woundering what else i can do to make it look clean nice and give it a bit of wow factor.

Hay everyone, i have recently brought a R31 skyline, it has no motor and no gear box, i original brought it to put an auto in it along with a RB30 Motor, But Have been thinking about makin it a sleeper, just woundering what people would recomend for it, but remembering im no made of money, so im looking to do it fairly cheap but want a fairly good sleeper, what price am i looking at and how much work is envolved in doing all this, i have left a pic 4 you to see what it looks like. realy wanting to hear about what other peoples thoughts are and hope to read all your replys soon, i will try to answer any questions that u have as soon as i can, thanks for all your help guys, cheers.
