  1. for sure ^^^^^^^^
  2. What is the heat range of the plugs?
  3. I think you will find that the shifting in that car was far from perfect though... awaiting SK on this one just put a resistor on your AFM sig wire before I get flamed, jokes jokes jokes...
  4. Too rich my friend...
  5. I have tried to launch my r33 in second and it was about the same as first IMO, BUT i was launching at 11 psi (using PFC Pro launch control) and my clutch would only last one go and even then I think it was slipping. :{ (Ceramic button)
  6. You can adjust them using screws behind the fittings. Do a search this has been covered before.
  7. I did this on my old VL and there was no issues... as long as you get the afm's right and keep a buffer just incase then I see no dramas...
  8. buttons are generally lighter aswell. If you ride a button for any period of time then they will slip, so I dont think you have a button. Could be a heavy duty, twin or tripple plater???
  9. Yea I noticed that, If that was my car behaviour like that from "Professionals" would really pi** me off
  10. Sounds good, What cost would I be looking at if I was to put the vg30 zaust housing on the back of my GT30?
  11. PFC Boost control kit
  12. Yea, It was not run in shootout mode
  13. I was under the impression that a lumpier exhaust cam would help the engine breath thus making more power at the same boost level????
  14. OK, so it looks like this is the maxium power that I will get without changing the zaust housing to a VG30 How much help would an zaust cam be in this situation?
  15. Its not so much the flow but the cooling efficency that I am worried about. At 19 psi the air after turbo compression would be very hot, I though that maybe my cooler is not good enough to get the temps back down. I did notice that when the car has been sitting in the the sun for awhile the preformance is lacking until I do a few km's to let the FMIC cool down from the heat soak, when at least that's my theory.
  16. Yea, cheers mate. She is running a fairly safe tune, thus lower power figure from expected. I just though of something else, could it be that my FMIC is at its limits now. Its a Bar and Plate design and is about 600mm long by 300mm high and about 60mm thick??? It might even be a GTR one but not sure as I bough tit second hand. How could I check that this is the case, inlet temps??
  17. It will kill the head gasket before the bottom end...
  18. Here is the dyno Graph:
  19. NO air leak and my zaust is just a straight pipe out from the turbo with a canon like tip (no cat or anything like that). I am currently running 1.3 bar, what is that in PSI???? I have gotten rid of the knock by fixing a few cells in the ignition map. I think the zaust housing on the turbo is bigger than standard as it has been hi-flowed... So far the story is that I have about 247rwkw on 1.3 bar with no knock but I cant increase the timming as this will cause knock. I will put the dyno graph up at lunch time, just need to find a scanner
  20. No over boost is happing cause the PFC tells me the max value for manifold pressure and it never gets higher than about 1.3 bar... Maybe 1.32 but the tune allows for a little over boost...
  21. Arr, so I am not going to get to much power from leaning off then... The response is not bad. I get full boost (19 psi) at about 4000 rpm. I will post the dyno sheet tomorrow... Thanks for all the replies, Oh yea: I just changed the ignition cells that were causing the issues and it seems to have solved the knock issue... Now I just need a little more power.
  22. I am not sure if my tuner set the lag time for my Nismo 555cc injectors, does anyone know what the lag time should be for theses injectors with a rb25det ??? Could this be part of the problem?
  23. It might be retarded, now you have confussed me???? I know that it made a benifical difference when I put it on so I must have it right Actually now that I think about it, it was neg 3 deg
  24. its a standard GT30 comp housing bolted up with a high flowed rb25 zaust housing. Dont know the HP rating as its a bit of a hybrid. bolted to stock rb25 manifold and cost me about $2000 from hp in a box.
