  1. Like it, but not the 2 tone
  2. Where is hoppers cross? I have a mate who might be interested.
  3. I assume you guys are all talking about the Peak Knock value right? If you are concerned about knock over 60 then put your hand controller in graph mode then monitor the knock. I think most of you will find that the knock only lasts for a fraction of a second...
  4. I am only asking as I need to be able to DRIVE to the tuners place. Offcourse I am planning to get it tuned, why else would I get bigger injectors????
  5. I there a better search than the one at the bottom of topics???
  6. www.Nengun.com for AU $ 911.89 delivered to your door
  7. I am in the process of installing 555cc nismo injectors in my RB25det. I have figureed out the following from searching: 555/370 * 100 = 150% Therefore should I set the injectors to run at 50% in the injector correction table??? & What do i do about the injector lag time ? Another thing worth noting is that I am also going to install a Z32 AFM. I know about setting the PFC for this, but others have mentioned that the Z32 may lean out my mixtures, is this the case?
  8. Extra Info: Call Andrew on 0418 601 341 for details. I also have: Stock manual Ecu => $300 turbo back zaust => $250 etc etc
  9. On a RB25 DET block which turbo water line is the "In" line and which is the "drain" line? The too lines I am talking about are the one on the side of the block under the turbo and the one behind the block in between the block and the firewall.
  10. Yea, I ended up finding it. Thanks mate...
  11. Just got the line off myself. The metal water line is connected to a rubber line, just under the ignitor pack on the edge of the block. To disconnect the metal line you need to undo at clamp with pliers, which is a real pain in the ***. To help you get to the clamp remove the coil pack cover & ignitor pack, and I also removed some air con hosing.
  12. I have the same question, I cant see why it would have to run in a certain direction but I dont know for sure. Did you get anywhere with this 180bfj20det???
  13. I am having the same problem at the moment, I just need to know where the line ends up????
  14. Thanks BigCarl, you have a PM
  15. OK... I have the stock turbo off and have all the water fitting sorted out bar one. One of the water lines dissapears between the block & the firewall, does anyone know where this water line ends up? Please help, I need this sorted out ASAP as the gararge that I am using to do the turbo upgrade is on loan
  16. How do you know? And have you replaced it?
  17. Thanks for all the info mate, putting her in this weekend . I noticed that you said you were running 20psi, does that make the rubber piping from the AFM to your turbo suck inwards?? Or have you replaced it with a steel version? How did you connect the 2.5 inch mandrel bend to the turbo, I dont think its 2.5 inchs? Sorry about all the questions guys, I will stay on topic after this I promise
  18. Thanks bigCarl: I think I have it under control. If I can use fittings from the existing lines for the new lines then that would be great. What Did you do for the elbow out of the comp housing to the intercooler?
  19. Hi, I have just bought a GT30 and am in the process of getting the oil / water lines sorted. The only thing I dont have is the fittings for the water line on the engine block. I have the ones to fit the line to the turbo but I have heard that the RB engines have different water fitting compared to the GT30. <_< Does anyone know the specs for the turbo water line fittings on the engine side?
  20. My guess is side feed, low impedence 270cc...
  21. you might wanna be more specific. You can upgrade the AFM to a Q45 or Z32 item, and you can get a MAP sensor with the boost control kit, but it is for boost control only...
  22. Hi. This is directed at BigCarl, I tried to PM you but it said that your PM service was not setup & that you did not have permissions to PM??? Sorry, I know this is off topic a bit but I cant contact BigCarl any other way... I noticed that you have a hybrid GT30 with the nissan RB exhaust housing. I wanted to ask you if you used the hpInABox oil/water kit? I have just ordered the same turbo with the oil/water kit and was wondering if there was anything else that I would need to fit the lines? The guy at HpInABox said that the oil line should be fine but the water line on the engine side might not fit & that I would have to get a nother fitting for that side of the line. Also did you use the waist gate actuator that they supply? If so how hard was it to modify to fit? Any tips on fitting this turbo (from anyone) would be a great help. Thanks in advance Andrew....
