  1. even the gts_t bov's work quiet well, and they are cheap cheap cheap. Mine currently holds 14 psi no probs, which equates to just over 200rwkw.
  2. I think the instructor is getting confused, it is bad for auto boxes becuase they overheat. There is no such problem for manuals.
  3. Well I payed $1000 for the bilsteins and $320 for the kings. I got the kings from capital steering & suspension and the socks from pedders. I had to haggle a bit with pedders to get the shocks for $1000...
  4. I used the low ones which are supposed to lower the car 35mm at most. You have the option of standard, low and super low. But I would not go the super lows because it would cause camber probs....
  5. After fitting the new springs and shocks the cars feels really good one the road. I used to have problems with under steering cause to front was bouncing so much. Just a couple of points for others to remeber when doing the same job. 1) Be prepared to spend the whole daying doing it. 2) It is an absolute pain in the a** of a job. 3) the back strut tower bolts are located under the parcel shelf and can be a huge pain to get to depending on your factory sterio option. I have factory splits in the back which had to be removed along with the seats and parcel shelf. 4) if you have a press it would be very handy for pressing on the bottom spring plates to the Bilstein shocks (I had to use the old persuader (hammer). 5) Make sure you have spring tentioners. The rest is easy but frustrating With this setup the guards are about 10mm from the tyres (with 18's) but may sag a little more. The ride seems to be nice and firm but not to firm... Sorry if this thread seems pointless, I am still cooling of as I just finished it. I needed to vent
  6. I would be carefull using constant power becuase you only want the light to be on when the car is on right...
  7. Most mornings if I leave on time I go past a white R33 on kambah Pool Road...
  8. My guess is that the 12V ignition is for the costant light to light up the smoke face. Then when you turn on your lights the 12V lighting (connected to the ciggy light ie, accesories) makes the boost gauge light up even more as it is now dark out side and the constant 12V ignition lighting is not enough. Just a guess dude, dont take what I say as bible.... Hope this helps.
  9. Splice your 12v lighting to the ciggeret lighter light. and the ground to your chasse somewhere. Dont know about the 12v ignition though???
  10. Can I have picvs of the Momo steering wheel please, I am interested in it... Send pics to [email protected]
  11. They tuned my PFC Pro and I am happy with the results.
  12. My mate just bought a re-built ca18det engine complete with re-built turbo. Now, I still have the standard R33 turb in my r33 gts-t, I was thinking that if this turbo has been re-built with a steal zaust wheel and is the same size then I will buy it off him and put it in my car so I can run more boost I am guessing that the ca18det turbo is going to be too small but I though I would ask anyway...
  13. you get the contents of a post buy email on this forum aswell
