  1. With all you internal work on the engine I cant get over the fact that you dont already have a PFC... I gained about 25rwkw on my rb25

If you are getting flat spots then I would try cleaning it to solve. But otherwise I would leave it. Basically, dont fix it if it aint broke I hear that you can get contact cleaner from Dick Smith and alike to do the job...
  3. Robert: you can download the manuals from http://www.alwayssideways.com The site has a very large bandwidth so your download should be faster...
  4. Be very carefull with 12 to 1 a/f ratios. If you get a dirty injector or your full pump starts to ware you could lean out to far. 12 to 1 does not allow any room for a buffer. I have mine just under 12 to 1... Correct me if I am wrong guys, if so then I am back to the dyno to lean out...
  5. My car reads upwards of 40 on the knock sensor but isnt pinging aswell, does this mean that my base timing is out?
  6. do you know if you turbo has a ceramic zaust wheel in it?
  7. GTTR34: ha ha ha ha ha that is classic. Sorry to hear about the tyres SnowMan
  8. My guess would be that you are getting close to doing your front right wheel baring. How long have you been hearing the sound? I was getting a sound like that for a while then one day it got really load then I started feeling some virations.
  9. Spacers on your front wheel can make a sound like you have discribed. Do you have spacers?
  10. Wtf
  11. JasonO: Thanks mate, thats just what I needed...
  12. I too would be interested depending on price.
  13. Thanks JasonO, that make a lot of sence and makes me feel better What about the 4 different setting that you can choose from?
  14. thats some really good power for 11 psi, I get 207rwkw at .95 bar with about the same mods.
  15. I am sorry if this has been covered before but i did a search and couldn't find this particular question. Anyway, There are 4 setting on the pfc boost controller: I assume from searching this forum that they are nothing more than 4 in individual settings that can be used. My question is what does the 255 mean on the right of the display. Others have said that it might be value of allowed over boost and that it cannot be changed unless you have the software. Well 2 of my settings have changed to 200 instead of 255 and my tuner does not have the software. Does anybody know for sure what the 255 means? and does the pfc boost controller have any special features that I dont know about. It seems that no body really knows much about this boost controller, or maybe there is nothing to know and it is a simple as it appears... Any help would be great...
  16. I think I set mine to 3 degs and it made a noticable difference.
  17. waiting for Shell to jump onto this thread. She had a spider under steering wheel. If you park you car in a garage simply seal it then put one of those mortean bomb things in the garage. Maybe even put one in your car...
  18. 18k should get you a really good gts-t r33 with some go fast bits on it too...

  20. I get my car serviced at AutoTech in Fyshwich. They did my timing belt for $300 all up including parts and laybour. They also re-tuned my PFC Pro for $250...
  21. Had a chat with shell at the village on thursday, hope you got rid of that Spider Shell
  22. I did a search for this but could not find what I wanted. Anyway I was wondering if anybody had any pics of a Oil Catch can installed on a rb25det. I want to see what the correct way to install them is. thanks in advance...
  23. With the stock head gasket I think the max is 18 psi, with a fater head gasket you get lower compression and therefore can run more boost. Dont take what i have said as bible though, its not first hand just what I have heard.
  24. djr81: Thanks for the reply. That is very handy... Load Axis : ofcourse I can line it up with the boost gauge. Should have though of that myself thanks again.
