  1. ha ha ha, I cant believe I asked this type of question Its amazing how much you can learn from this forum... I went from "What does SAFC mean" to installing after market ecu, turbo, injectors and clutch etc man, this takes me back to the first couple of weeks that I had the car
  2. Thanks champ, I the same situation!!!!
  3. yea good luck mate, will be watching closly
  4. Do you have the power window controller from the drivers side door?
  5. The learning value is the 255 initial value that you cannot change. If you get the duty cycle close enough the PFC uses (fuzzy logic) to fine tune it. The learning value will change as the computer fine tunes it self. Therefore if this value does not change, you either have the duty perfect OR you are no where near. In your case I reakon you probably have too much duty. What is your duty set at? PS, the above is just my opion. Might not be fact but seems to work for me...
  6. My Car in the pines
  7. no snow in Barton
  8. Has the learning value changed? If not you may be way off with your duty cycle. With that actuator I dont think you will need much duty cycle at all.
  9. I dont think so Banger's ute is candy apple red...
  10. Thats right, your tyres were bald and you engine was Kaput when you got it back ahe
  11. Lesson from this: If you go to a smash repairer in Queenbo and there is a little white dog there, run away, if you want your car back in under 6 months!
  12. Is there a little white dog at this particular Smash Repairer in Queenbo? If so I know of others who have had major time delays!!!
  13. besides the gasket, do they bolt straight on with all the fittings etc. Ie, is it just a case of removing the old plenum and placing this one on the runners directly? And would I be able to use the existing gasket, I have never had to change it before when doing injectors etc... Bass: You have a PM
  14. Whats the special price? I am in the position to fit as I have taken mine off before, but like al said it needs to come with every thing included for fitment. Also 2 dyno runs aint free, and the second run would require some fine tuning of timming and maybe some fuel etc. The time factor is no problem for me, but would rest on when I could book it onto the dyno.
  15. sounds really good, Just need to organise a few little knock issues, get some fater say bars and I am in!
  16. OK Mate, Let me clear this up. When the bleed actuator is connected and working it bleeds air out of the hose between the intake piping and the waste gate actuator. Lets say that the waste gate actuator spring is rated at 5psi therefore limiting the boost to 5psi as the waste gate opens. Now lets assume that the bleed value is set to bleed 3psi... This means that the intake will have to be pressured to about 8psi (5psi for the spring rate + 3psi worth of bleeding) to make the waste gate actuator spring open and limit the boost. Therefore by removing the 3psi bleed you effective reduce the amount of intake piping pressure needed to open the waste gate which means offcourse less boost in the intake manifold...
  17. on a stock r33 GTST I think the actuator is a 5 psi spring or close to. By doing this you will get less boost.
  18. I am keen but I need all the details of the item... Ie, what trottle body fits it, is it a direct bolt on etc...
  19. few, gunMetal wipes sweat of forehead... My engine has been making this sound on and off for about a year and goes away when the engine is hot... Which points to lifters and NOT bent rod thanks again for your comments mate!
