This might sound stupid but where is the ignition timing valve?

Is KH2 the gun metal grey for a R33 GTS-T or only GTR's?

Does anybody know the color code for Gun Metal Grey R33's?

I just got one and had no probs apart what Jay95R33 mentioned, which is an easy fix. What you might find is that the car will search up and down about 300 rpm or so around the idle. When you get it make sure that you let it learn the idle properly. Its listed in the instructions, this might stop the searching... ps, are you getting the Pro version or the non pro?

Here is some power from back in the day... C10 Skyline GT-R. DOHC, 24 valve 6 cyl motor of 2 litres, with triple webbers (Solex to be exact) and 5 speed box. see attached:

I think this is how it works: The computer will dump in more full under different load point on the fuel map. Therefore when you are in neutral there is no load on the engine so not as much fuel therefore not as much exaust to spool up the turbo... Launch control on the other hand retards the ignition so the fuel gathers and explodes in the exaust manifold with creates the flow to spool up the turbo... Correct me if iam wrong...

Having about 5 psi for launchs is a real advantage when draging. But I must admit that I am also running 275 rubber...

I dont know exactly: I think it does something to the timing and fuel to put the engine under load without moving. I guess it does what all the other launch control systems do (they all build boost up). I know for a fact that it does, I do it every day in my car.

The pro version does do lauch control which is more than just the rev limit, it also builds up boost so you can launch with waiting for your turbo to spool up

Thanks SydneyKid, I have tryed modifing the ignition map a little but to no avail, I will try doing both ignition & fuel maps and see what happens...

I think it might be something to do with the pro version, with it you can eliminate the afm. So I think i am going to have to buy a map sensor for it. Does anybody out there have a pfc pro running at the moment?

How hard is it to install the map sensor: I have the power fc pro on an r33 gts-t and a hate afm's too.

Green line contacted apexi for me and apexi informed them that the PFC is designed to limit to stock boost when running the base map. (not sure if this is just a Pro thing or not). I think it must be something to do with boost as this problem only happens when I turn my bleed on and boost over 5 psi.

I have a PFC Pro on my R33 GTS-T, My problem is that it only allows factory boost (5 PSI). I have a bleed set to 13psi but the computer does ignition cut if I boost over 5 PSI. I am getting a tune in 2 weeks and I would like to know how to turn this of just incase the turner does'nt know. Can it be done with the hand controller?

PS, are you getting an ignition cut in second when experiencing the problem? Your hoses might be loose of your bleed which would make it over boost then your ecu would cut the ignitions therefore limiting the boost? Long shot :-} ???????

Try swapping your bleed with a mates if you can and see if the problem persists. If that does not fix it then I would say that you waste gate might be catching??? other than that I am stumped, cant think of why it would only happen in second. Do you have an auto or manual?

Dont know where you can get one. You might be able to import one from j spec or green line for pretty cheap... Be carefull which one you go for, some shorten the shift more than others.

is the r33 GTR pump the same as a R32 GTR pump? I am after a R33 one...

would you take $170 for the gtr fuel pump?

Does anybody know the fuse number for the dash lights?
