Hi Guys, I am selling my Pulsar Gti-R. It is a 91 model in the blue-grey colour. It has an indicated 57,000kms on the clock, but I'll let you be the judge. It is in very good condition inside and out. The engine and gearbox run very smoothly and there is nothing to spend on this car. Original condition except for a set of wheels, cat back exhaust and an HKS pod. If you are genuinly interested come and take a look, you will not get a better one for this price. It needs to be sold. Its a 2003 model, I picked it up at the gov't auction. It drives beautifully though for a car with those kms. As a bonus it turned out to be a futura not an XT. The auction got it wrong so I'm pretty happy with it.

I ended up getting a BA Falcon XT Wagon from the auction, 147k with no rego. $8,500 Bargain =)

Hi guys, I am seling my car because as some of you may have read in other sections I need a tow vehicle and I cannot justify having 2 cars and a bike. This car has being my 5th Skyline and the best. It has being in the family for 2 years and has never let me down, very reliable. It drives very tightly and is mechanically A1. I am selling it cheap because I am going on holidays on the 14/02/2007 and would prefer it gone by then. Thanks for all the opinions guys. A Delica crossed my mind but I didn't think it had the towing capacity. I think I am going to start looking for a late model AU Falcon with lowish Kms and put a trans cooler on it. I will get one way under $10k I think. They are bargains. But I'll also keep my eyes open if a good price diesel 4x4 comes along. I'll let everyone know what I end up getting. Just one more question does anyone know what the fuel comsumption is like with a heavy trailer on the back?

Thanks for all the opinions guys, I have thought about the diesel 4x4 option but to stay around my $10k budget I would have to be looking at a fairly old vehicle or one with very high kms. Also I think the ford would be comfortable than a 4x4 on longer trips. Would a transmission cooler ensure the Ford Gearbox a long and healthy life? I've also considered a Lexus LS400/Toyota Celsior. Has anyone had any experience towing with these? I hear there not that torquey for a V8.

Hi Guys, I'm wondering if anyone has any good recommendations as a tow vehicle to tow a car that weighs about 1500 kgs and will occasionally be used to tow a car that weighs about 1650kg. I'm looking for something not more than 10 years old. I was thinking of an AU Ford because it has a 4.0L six and it is very torquey and has a 2300kg towing capacity. I was told by a mechanic that the gearbox can't cope with heavy towwing though. Anyone had any experience towing with these cars? If not does anyone else have any other suggestions? thanks, Omar
