nice hellaflush, i just bought those meisters that i added above, so ill see how they fit on the ceffy when they arrive haha, im up for some serious guard mods methinks

isnt it! i was just showing how the rear guards of a car are supposed to be done rather than fibreglassing over the wheels, enlarging doors etc. it looks cool to do that, just imo i recon steel flares look cooler

indeed they will be, my front guards are heavily flared, and my rears lipped just a bit. if i got these ones then some serious guard mods will have to be made lol. all steel of course, none of this fibreglass crap and just over top of the rim, the front and back of the tire will be there for all to see much like this car

ahh yeah your right, i quickly looked and saw the door handles and the basic shape looked the same still, i recon it'd look good with a c35 front end

must agree with a31rb25, mine is starting to feel like no power steering on a cold start, then when warm everything is fine :S no idea lol

yeah, front guards definitly lol. i also have a full set of original cefiro floor mats...but i like mine

im interested in the conversion myself. could i just use an RB25 loom? i wouldve thought it would plug right in? if a31deviant could provide some more information that'd be great. cheers

mines working fine...it just sits there an idles about 2.5k havent really driven it though, except just up the road and back. but it drives fine. other than the power steering not working when the cars cold :S weird

mines a cefiro RB20DET, and im having alot of trouble now with an AFM i just wired up (from a 32) and a stock computer (from a 32). could these be swapped for 31 AFM/Computer?

i put the interior back in the ceffy this afternoon, makes me wanna keep it even more, looks so clean now lol. was just a shell with a cage and a bucket seat, moaned a groaned when i drove it etc. now its noisy (read - minus sound deadening ) but alot more comfortable. ill check this 32 out and see how i go, but whichever i choose its getting a 3 litre RB30DETT (technically it would be an RB31DETT ) will see how i go, this 32 is alot cleaner compared to my pig spec ceffy

you just want the loom haha not sure what ill do, the 32 has fresh paint, will have stock wheels, the RB20 isnt shitting itself (unlike mine), has an interior (unlike mine), and i get to keep all my good bits off the ceffy ( RB26, 3 core trust radiator, oil cooler, 2530 turbo, boost controller, TT, bucket seat etc) will just chuck in 2 blown RB20s so he can fix it when it finally lunches itself. got a price of a full rebuild kit for an RB30 bottom end too, 1500 including the crank being balanced etc, forged rods and pistons, headgaskit, block cleaned up etc. then dad can assemble the whole thing (being a mechanic and engine assembler ) and then got quoted 700 bucks to get my head sent away to get new guides and all cleaned up. $2200 plus a carton of jim beam and we are in business! have a set of R34 N1s to bolt onto the side, ill build my own exhaust out of stainless and bobs your uncle. ...then i just need a 25 box to stick behind it if i dont swap the ceffy for the 32. ill do the 3 litre anyway and stick it in the ceffy

"they sound like shit" (read TRUCK MOTORS) i just got offered a 32 four door for my cefiro back to stock, thinking about taking up the offer and getting dad to build be a 3 litre bottom end and stick my 26 head on it lol. death wish i know, but cheaper than building a 26 bottom end

like we talked about earlier, you can shotgun my loom when i pull the engine out as i have a 26 loom. a bit of useless information, on the fuel rail the loom connects to 4 out of 6 injectors and the other 2 connect to the fuel rail loom, compared to the first 3 being connected to the loom and the last 3 being connected to the rail loom on a 32. made it a bastard to take out my fuel rail

haha righto simon, id rather get the thing tested etc, as of when i took the cams out and put stock cams back in, it sounded like it was knocking real bad, but went away once i put a stock computer back in. so ill make sure everythings still alright before i go selling it to anybody. will also have fmic with piping, stock or HKS 2530 turbo, loom, gearbox etc. got offered a 240rwkw SR for my ceffy last night, and hes after my RB26 which has done a big end bearing...hmm

mine did the same thing konnect, but soon started clunking etc after a while. can tell you now, the missus doenst like having no interior and sound deadening, and the sound of the diff around corners and up/down driveways R31power, your 31 is awesome? what engine you running in it? ive got a spare RB20DET i wanna put into a 31 or something

haha sounds like too much of a hassle for me id be just going out and buying a mech diff thats already in a housing, like i did. but then again, sounds like youve already bought it...good luck mine was a factory turbo auto, so it had 5 bolt halfshafts and viscious lsd (no hicas )
