  3. Can't see my wastegate anyways, its hidden away under the manifold, you can only just see the dump pipe for it

  5. Cost me a 1250 all up for the turbo/manifold/wastegate/dump pipe, pretty cheap i thought so i got it all Best mod i've made to the car!
  6. In the boot, behind the back seat, check it, might have to remove some trim or something but they are there
  7. Yeah im running the same manifold/wastegate setup on my car, except i've got the KKK turbo that originally came with that manifold as well!! Just made 162rwkw on 8psi @6k on a hub pack dyno with it!! Work really well, its made the car so much more driveable then the standard turbo stuff
  8. i've heard that they don't have rev limiters, never had mine past about 6500k though, didn't want to rev any higher with the standard turbo and im still running lean above 6k with this new turbo setup...
  9. Definalty keeps my bonnet from going cold... I've got a high mount setup, not my first port of call, its just the manifold was a high mount one (old school HKS) so i kinda didn't have much of a choice!! I think alot of the time when they go high mounts its for room reasons, or lack there of, in our skylines there's a fair bit of room down there if you remove the aircon/cruise control etc etc free's up quite a bit

  12. Guessing it does cause they have a 180km/h speed limiter so the ecu's getting a signal from somewhere

  17. So prolly just easier to get a blank set of rotors and getting them drilled to suit 5 stud hey, and or just getting a set of rotors redrilled
  18. Looks not bad now, but loose the towbar!!!!! I've got the same front bar problems, got a custom one in the shed to put on it but its all $$$ atm

  20. There is always that option of redrilling and it would prolly be the easiest and cheapest way out, but i was going to try to do it properly.. Whats involved in doing the S14 rear end swap????
  21. Yeah well easy enough to go to turbo rotors, but how do i attach them to the car?? I was thinking they might make a DR rotor in a 5 stud stud pattern (that would be way to easy wouldn't it) because i know they make the 33/32 turbo rotor's in a 4 stud stud pattern!! I just want to go 5 stud for a greater selection of rims, cause they don't make many 4 stud wheels in the right offset for the DR, plus im already running the R3x caliper/rotor combo on the front with 25mm spacers to clear the rims and i want to get rid of those spacers!!!
  22. Righto people.....Have this issue, i want to convert to 5 stud stud pattern, the fronts are easy for me to do, just get some turbo rotors and thats that, but what about the ass end??? Mate has been told to use R32 GTR rotors but as the email he got was all in japlish he's got sweet f**k all else outta the email!! Anyone done this conversion or know whats needed to do it??? Cheers!!
  23. What boost was that power made on?? If its still pretty standard up it son!! Apart from that, follow the path that V8skylineman has suggested, maybe see if you can find a 2nd hand turbo for it somewhere (GT2530 perhaps???)
  24. Yeah pretty sure it is close to one, just have to change the wiring or something.. I got mine rebuilt by s&b auto electricals, Jacobsen cresent, instead of turning right to go to jaustech, turn left and its behind a furniture place up there if he's still there, if not i'll get the addy of my old boy, he's a mate of my dad's so yer....
  25. Yeah i've had 3 alternators go in about 4 months, got one rebuilt and haven't had issues with it yet, but i don't drive it as much anymore so who knows.... No idea what an alternator is worth Adam, go suss some places out ring around easiest way
