  1. Other option that you can use is to use the compressor wheel off of the 13bt's hitachi, i know a few boys in adelaide have done that, works quiet well apparently...
  2. Yeah thats right that part, but how in the hell are you going to feed them through the drop link?? Thats the bit i don't get!! Unless you can buy belts that have been fed through that drop link already???
  3. Take said sump off and see what the damage is mate, thats my only advice
  4. Adam : Can you post some more photo's of your seat belts down the bottom where they bolt into the car please?? I've gotta start looking at replacing my belts in my car, but mine go in behind the trim if i remember rightly where your's appears not to???? Cheers mate
  5. I second that option!!
  6. Maybe have a look at the gibson cars from when they raced see if you can get an ideas?? Maybe your only other option is to have remote resevoirs on the master cylinder ala FJ20 - 1600 styles??? I don't think Nissan would've put the motor there though if it was such a hinderance to the cars handling...
  7. I beleive if you go and have a look at www.datrats.com.au they've got a full history on it, i was reading about it saturday night at work, very interesting...
  8. Mine genearlly can't be driven until its got a bit of temprature in it due to standard ecu and shitty cold start, so I give it a couple of minutes just until i see the temp gauge move, then drive consverativly until all warm!!!
  9. You sure that thats all it had done to it??? Im pretty sure last 31 i went in wasn't that quick hey...
  10. LOL!!!! To true....
  11. Yeah or even something like what Nightcrawler has would be ok to, its not to in your face....Something simple, stick with the kiss theory can't go wrong
  12. I'd be down for a sticker!! Small and discrete though, im not a fan of big in your face things!!!
  13. The thing is becuase these cars when they raced were brand new, nothing had worn so i very much doubt that there would've been any play in them...Mine has got a little bit of play but its nothing that worries...It would be interesting to see if you got a brand new one from nissan if that has play in it or not????
  14. Oath!! Barry knows his shit very well!!!
  15. No go, work for me sunday arvo have fun yall!
  16. bad luck there mate!!! As far as a i know, any boost control is deemed guilty straight to jail and the turbo timer has to have wiring and all removed, do not pass go, do not collect $200 straight to jail on that one to....Then what ever they ping you for there!! If you didn't get the speeding fine then you might get lucky, did he write it all out?? You might receive it in the mail or something stupid!! :chairshot
  17. So you are actually selling your house to finish your car are you??? Or was that a joke???? :cooldance
  18. The only real issue i can see with trying to get static +ve camber for maximum traction is the issue of lack of grip whilst cornering...If you go to far +ve whilst static you'll loose alot of rear end grip, so its a case of you've gotta comprimise between the two...Mines that stiff in the rear that camber doesn't change, its set -ve (not sure how much) but i don't really have traction issues at this stage yet either...Time will tell when i wind some boost into it and start making some power
  19. Sall good then! First time we've had both those cars on the road together actually, like i said bit of a run in drive for my mate and i was just out for a sunday jog lol!! Im north atm, about 10 mins from ingle farm K mart, other mate is north eastern side of town, rarly drive the cars and when we do its usually in the hills! Thats only about the 2nd time i've actually driven the car anywhere near lofty in the past 2 years i guess, mainly cause its been off the road that long!! Good to hear that noise hasn't come back, mine develops noises all the time and then the vanish, when they get really bad then you worry :zap:
  20. AHH HA!! Thought that was you!! The other DR was Crimmo if he ever post's in here *shrugs* On a run in drive for him!! Sorry if we were a bit cold towards you, was weird day and both of us were having car issues as well...My left hand wheel spacer decided that it didn't like being bolted to the hub anymore, so tried to dislodge itself, luckily it did it a few streets from my house so i limped it home, crimmo was having over heating issues....Damn cars huh
  21. Interesting...I've got a wolf V4 pro waiting to go into my car, and im hearing conflicting reports as well..My brother just got it put into his car and he's not rating it, which is making me think about not doing it....Be interested as well to see the responses from ppl
