  1. yerp thats not a bad price though!! Yeah i could see your problem in finding enough packaging for it, and my box was a fair size, might have to go even bigger/deeper though yeah?? For the record now, my cars all running, just gotta wait for a week or two for rego and its all sweet again!!
  2. Thats not a bad looking bar, what sorta $$$ would it cost us???
  3. Thats not a problem mate, no misunderstanding just had to make my side of the case a bit clearer!!! LOL @ Tim you goon
  4. Haha yes well let me tell you about finding parts for rare jap imports :spcow: Not an exciting experience and cost's way to much $$$ And yes i agree close thread now before kindergarten is let back out for the day
  5. Steve, i think drifting is a great sport, im not knocking it one bit, i enjoy watching it immensly, just shits me off when people don't understand that you don't drift or have no ideals of doing it!! Like i said when people see *insert jap import car here* they automatically presume that your a drifter, and just not the truth at all!! I've been in many car drifting (back when it was underground and on the street), its really good fun i will admit but not my cup of tea as far as driving goes!!
  6. That post sounded rather defensive have i hit a nerve?? Have YOU actually asked your DAD what HE wants to do with it or are you just asking questions for the sake of it (i seem to remember someone else on another forum being like this getting every turbo car under the sun and not getting any of them hrmmm :talk2hand) Seems at 13 though you won't be driving the car for a bit yet, even when you do get your licence i can't see an insurance company insuring a turbo import to a 16 year old, i have enough drama's and im 25!! Yes thats the whole problem with drift, unless you are a FULLY SICK drifter these days you don't get respect, i get asked daily if i drift mine and when you reply with NO i prefer to turn corners you get weird looks and i've been abused at times as well...Drifting is good don't get me wrong just unless you can drift now you don't rate...Suits me don't worry Skidmark - Got told BIG time :rolls eyes: :whip:
  7. Ok let me get this straight...From the couple of topics you've put up here, your 13 and its your dad's car yeah?? So why are you asking us what YOU should do with your dad's car?!?!?!?!?!? Im sorry but doesn't make sense to me hey As for what i rekon your DAD should do with it, he should just leave it as it is, maybe oriantate it slightly towards track work but i wouldn't be touching it.... I read somewhere that drift is becoming the new "rice"...Im agreeing more and more every day
  8. Yeah Josh's died from a injector that was blocked last time i heard from him...Like i said if your that worried get a malpassi and stick it on the dyno and get them to wind a touch more base pressure into it so it doesn't lean out up top.... BTW my car runs now Started her up sunday night, getting wheel spacers today for it and it should be able to move under its own steam for the first time in over 12 months :D
  9. Ummm got it in GT2, never got it in GT3 was it actually in there??
  10. Why oh WHY would you turn something as clean as that into a drifter??? :chop: OMFG!! Its CRUEL DAMMIT!!  :chairshot
  11. Thats the whole drama here mate, the wolf doesn't read the standard TPS, just because it is only an on/off switch basically, i need a true TPS for the wolf to work on my motor!! Adam you should be able to get away with running 14psi through your motor, Josh was running that and his was only just starting to lean out really high in the rev's, so if worse comes to worse get a malpassi or something and wind a touch more base pressure into it!! Do it all on the dyno though
  12. Just spoke with my brother, and apparently the RB30 ones fit, he did it with his car, have to suss it out i guess...Cheers for your help guys!!
  13. Thanks Todd i was kinda waiting to get an answer from you about this!! Seems i'll have to go and suss an automatic FJ tps then hey!! I was just throwing the idea of the XF throttle body around as an aside issue, i would prefer to keep FJ tb at this stage, and hopefully i can suss something to fit it!!
  14. Yep i know what your on about and i agree, but all in all you can't really complain i don't beleive!! Bring on that nurburgring!! I CAN'T WAIT!!
  15. Geeze look at that DR without a cracked tail light lense Any actually news on when this game is going to be realsed into australia???
  16. PFFT how dare you lie!! Its standard as son
  17. Fills a void in dat der engine bay doesn't it adam teehee can go bigger, prolly will in later stages but meh we'll see!!
  18. Funnily enough, thats something that me and my mates discussed at one stage, it could be done, no reason why it couldn't just be easier to use a normal aftermarket ecu... Adam i was looking at the microleb, but for what i got this wolf for really couldn't complain hehehe
  19. Will it work with the Wolf though Ben?? Arnt the stock FJ throttle bodies fairly restrictive though when u start making some serioius power??? Bare in mind my turbo is good for upto 30psi and 450PS....
  20. Nah bloke i don't beleive it has to go through regency, i bloody well hope not!! It should be getting started this weekend so full steam ahead
  21. Hahaha i've got that letter in my car as well, was dated 01 or something, i've had the car now for 2 years or close enough to it, they better not send me that letter now dammit to get those plates fitted!! I'll cry!!!
  22. As topic suggest's, i've got a Wolf 3D V4 pro for my FJ, and my brother just had one installed on his FJ as well, only snag with it was that the wolf doesn't work with the standard TPS as its only an on off switch not a true TPS sensor...Now does anyone know if there is one that you can get off another motor (SR?? CA??) that will bolt up or is it easier to just swap to an XF throttle body at this stage and have one less restriction??? If thats the case, how hard is the XF throttle body to install?? Any cutting and shutting of plenum needed??? Cheers, Shane
