Im not 100% sure on the size differences compared with the RB25 turbo, i do know that u can get two types of VG30 turbo though, one's ball bearing the other is bush bearing...Most VGs are ceramic wheel whilst u may just find one or a few that are steel, they exist but are rare as...

Josh the thing has panels now!! As an aside, i managed to get a HKS high mount manifold, HKS 32mm external wastegate and a KKK26 turbo thats meant to be able to produce 400-450ps and be efficient for up to 30psi of boost..I paid $1000 for it all

I wouldn't be at all happy with that power figure!! Stock FJ makes 110rkw!!! Mate of mine with an RB20 made 197rwkw with just a VG30 turbo, FMIC and exhuast, not tuned or anything..Did u end up getting another power run elsewhere or???

It wasn't an rb30det,was just an RB30ET...It was from adelaide and i was fortunate enough to get a ride in it at one stage...It hauled ass I've got the link at home for it (its a mate of mine) i'll post it when i get home if i don't find it here at work whilst searching for it!!

Beg to differ on the turning corners theory...If they turn corners that badly why are they used succesfully in the club car arena??? They can be made to handle, but i f u want an early rotary that handles well the RX2 is the pick of the bunch, coil overs on all corners, handle really well!!

I got a KKK26 meant to be good for 400-450ps at rear wheels, and a hks high mount manifold and 32mm external wastegate for $1000...JUst got a wolf 3d V4 pro for $700 as well last night, things arn't expensive for the FJ, you've just gotta look around a bit harder then RB/SR things

Ahhhhh sounds more like i wanted to hear!! I want to run forgies in my FJ, but i didn't wanna kill blocks with the whole piston slapping when cold issue!!! Its goin into storage soon anyways whilst i pay it off and get my own place...Then we look @ rebuild or something

Hahaha smart ass What i was trying to say is the whole rattling of the forgies around in the bores can't really be that good for them can it?? Or has the whole fact that there is increased amounts of silica being used now meant that the cold piston to bore tolerances can be decreased meaning less piston rattle when cold????

DR30RS nah its not running yet, im getting ecu next week and then im hoping to have it all back and running in about 4-6 weeks!! Mate has been asking bout that turbo though, and from what im being told its going to be a pig to drive, lag city central Yes rocker cover is going to get painted and plenum as well!! I want them back to red!! Doctor30 hahaha rear suspsension hahaha..In that shot its got stupid springs in it (cut by previous owner), i've now got kings springs in it which sit it up prolly another 3 inches or something!! RSX84 yerp still have them wheels on it mate!! Cars always been tekament front end mate, just i decked it nearly 8 months ago and have been majorly ****ed around by one guy and then brilliantly helped out by ghostrider!!

Just watch out if u have the standard T3 in place, for i've heard stories (had it happen to amate) of the wastegate sticking open on the standard T3's and overboosting big time!

I know my car used to do 180 in 4th at about 5900 or somethig like that...Then the big brick wall!! Got my new turbo tuesday as well boys, taken some foto's, just have to upload them to my website which should be done this arvo!!
