So how exactly does the wolf run your car??? I just got offered a V4 last night for a cheap price and im pretty much gonna take it...

Yeah for sure, plus if you gotta get the dizzy modified, you then have to start thinking what if i get defected with the aftermarket ecu in there and the dizzy is modified, means u have to go and source a stock dizzy so that it will work with your stock ecu...Just the little things that count!

From what i understand about the FJ dizzy [ant] is that its not a true CAS as such, its more like an optical pick up styles dizzy, somewhere between a normal dizzy and a proper cas...Speaking with a mate who was goin to use a wolf on his FJ 1600, he spoke with the wolf dealer here in SA, and they said that they've gotta modify the dizzy because it has to many teeth or something to work properly with the wolf V3

About the only thing that is wrong with the wolf's that i know of, is that you have to modify the dizzy, with previous versions u had to anyways not sure with the V4...My brother is playing with one atm so i guess i'll c what happens when his is running again... As for injectors, thats where its handy having mates with S4/5 rx7's who keep maxing their stock injecotrs out tehee Turbo's...I getting my new one prolly next week..Some KKK26 jobby, rated at 450ps and efficient between 18 and 30 psi...Should push the little ol Fj a bit me thinks

Yep well i have the ball bearing VG30 one...Im looking to get around $300 for it, i bought it for my FJ20, but i've bought a manifold that i was told the turbo would fit onto and it didn't So i had to buy the turbo as well not that thats a big issue hehe

I've got a VG30 turbo for sale if your interested!! Ball bearing etc etc, basically same turbo as u have now, just slightly bigger compressor wheel so i'm lead to beleive!!! Bolts straight up though and i agree with everyone else get a BOV, even if its just a stocker one thats fed back!

Hahaha u rekon??? Dude u should go hang around some wreckers joints,and let me tell u SR's are very very rare and the ones that come in are sold pretty damn quickly...Why?? Cause they all BREAK! Throw rods, snap rocker arms...GT autosounds snapped a rocker arm ffs so don't tell me it doesn't happen!!!!

Easy solution, don't crash then!! I've done the bonnet lift on my car, and it made a HUGE difference to everything, the other thing if you want to start looking at lowering tempratures is to plate off the area between ur bumper and your radiator support panel so the air can only go through your radiator/intercooler...

Gear box ratios im not to sure about, maybe check FJ20.com and suss the engine spec's or something see if has anything to do with gearbox ratios on it *shrugs* A suggestion...Diff ratios, i beleive the turbo car's came with a 3.9 and the atmo DR came with a 4.1:1...

Hahaha yeah its goin to be something like that trust me, heaps of heatwrap to be used About to go and negoiate on this turbo then i'll let you know about the VG adam ok!!

Ahhh no the VG doesn't bolt up to my new stuff :D and im not really sure whats goin on with the VG, i might be trading it in yet im not sure...I'l let u know though! If we do, it will involve your stock turbo and some money cause trust me when/if a cop pop's my bonnet im now in the "officially ****ed" catagory...Pics to come soon :aroused:

It's not gonna work i tells ya don't try it!!! Yeah im not even really sure how it will work yet, im asuming well cause i've seen a similar setup on a CA18 and that was impressive!! Might be changing turbo's already though stay tuned for more updates I no fear the RB [ant] unless its my mates RB25 which is mental (3rd gear traction issues???) yeah i'll fear that!

Hahaha yes well i went to motormate (like a repco store over here as well) and asked them for an oil filter for an FJ20 DR30 and they tried to tell me (after i got a very puzzled look) that my car has the same motor as the MR30 and the book is right and im wrong???
