  1. Yeah that was me. Was having one of those days. Was in a hurry, looked in side and there were 30 students at the counter so decided to go somewhere else. Nandos FTW.
  2. When I got my highflow I was having problems with boost spiking despite having an AVCR working properly. My tuner immediately thought it was the actuator so in went an HKS heavy duty actuator and I have had no problems since.
  3. I'm pretty sure that would have been me. I was just getting some lunch with the gf on our day off
  4. Spotted abu's old silver 32 on Darling road, East Malvern yesterday afternoon
  5. Please post some pics of your R34 GTR V-Spec II Nur
  6. Yeah that was me. Was getting some new $50 wiper blades from Supercheap. You would have been the low white R33 that past me heading the other way on Cheltenham road. Nice
  7. Spotted Leanbac parked right near me at Chaddy
  8. Seen this at Monash Clayton before. It is a very clean and unassuming car. Well modded too. Good luck with sale.
  9. I had the PFC boost control kit on my old R33 GTS-T. It held boost perfectly and I never had any problems. I also liked how it worked through the PFC commander so I didn't have another control unit on/around my dash. I now use an AVCR which is just as good but now have the control unit on my dash which I think looks ugly.
  10. Spotted a nice series 1 black/gunmetal R33 parked two cars across from me at Camberwell carpark between Safeway and Bourke Road (behind the shops). It had SAU stickers and personalised plate BIASA or similar
  11. As Mav was saying, its just part of owning a skyline. All my skylines have had it. Its seems to get worse the more modified the car is. I would say it mostly depends on how rich the mixtures are.
  12. I would recommend the Trust PE2. I think its a 80mm pipe. Reasonably quiet with good bark on command and a great note. I have never had any complaints by the police with it (including 3inch split dump + front + cat). Its also fairly cheap. I got mine from Autobarn and paid like $670 approx. No need to wait for it to be ordered in either.
  13. Spotted CNBLOW (white R34 GTT) on the monash a couple of days ago. Gave him a wave and he responded by boosting past me as I came off at the Bourke Rd exit
  14. I read somewhere that a group of Poms pulled an engine out of an R34 GTR and put it on an engine dyno. From memory the engine made approx 240kw at the fly. So anything around 180awkw sounds about right
  15. On Friday night at approx 2.30am at Mothers Milk near Chapel Street and Dandenong Road spotted a bayside blue R34 GTR V-Spec. On Saturday afternoon spotted a white R34 GTR with Nismo kit and rims on Chapel Street near Windsor station. I think is the same car that was for with plate "GTRJIE" or something similar. Different plates makes me think the car has a possible new owner.
  16. Was washing my car at Malvern car wash and saw a hot R33 GTR Black/Purple with gold BBS wheels turn off Malvern Road to go over Moira Street bridge. Plates were RWD ***.
  17. 3rd year Commerce student at Monash Clayton (Marketing & Management major). I also work part time as a bartender at the Railway Hotel in Windsor and even do the odd bottleshop shift
  18. Thanks for the replies. The plenum manufacturer sent me the bracket as he believed it was necessary for the repair. I sent him the pics I have posted. I guess I will drop in to Racepace over the next couple of days and see what they recommend. Cheers
  19. G'day guys just looking for recommended aluminum welders as I have a crack in the welding of my front facing plenum. I was sent a bracket from the plenum's manufacturer that needs to be used for the repair but I am worried that it will look particularly average. Are my concerns justified?
  20. Spotted jade green R34 GTR V Spec II Nur turning into North Road from Nepean Hwy. So hot!!!
  21. Here's a couple I thought I'd add: [attachment 157279:34700.jpg] [attac ment=157285:GTR_NUR_R34_11.jpg] [attachmen =157288:IMG_0326.jpg] [attach ent=157292:pic0001.jpg] Radio_switch.doc [attachmen =157298:skylinegtr6ty3.jpg]
  22. Weren't those 33SOM plates on a silver S2 GTS25T that is currently for sale in the for sale section?
  23. Also spotted dogknight driving down burwood highway inbound near deakin at approx 3.30. I was in the silver 33 heading outbound but I don't think you saw me
  24. Mine will go on and off also. Usually on when the car is angled down at the front and then off again as weight transfers to the rear of the car. It is really hard to tell how much fuel you have left when the light goes on. If I am really poor I usually wait until the fuel light is on permanently but generally try and avoid this because having a car run out of fuel is such a pain in the ass when you could of just filled up. There is also the risk of clogging fuel lines with all the crap at the bottom of the tank. Basically just get fuel when the light comes on. Whether or not you have an aftermarket fuel pump may also effect how far you get with the fuel light on as they often aren't mounted again in exactly the factory position.
