Yeah i tried that already i cut the rod so it is pressing against the fork firmly but not too hard. Then i put the gearbox in gear and put the clutch in and tried spinning the back wheels when they were off the ground but they are locked....and obviously spin freely when in netrual. i thought maybe i cut too much off so i tried putting spaces but its still not engaging. Any ideas? Maybe i just need the right casrrier?

hey guys i have just installed a os twin plate clutch in to 31 with an rb25 neo and running a rb20 silvertop gear box. i changed the thrust bearing for the right one and stuff, but once i bolted every thing up i tried putting the slave cylender on and the fork is way too far forward. like i can get one bolt in it but just not the other. The fork and everything is in right way so dont know what it could be, any ideas? ive tried releasing the nipple too. thanks

all solved thanks guys! was a vacume leak found it and ran fine straight away! thanks for all the help!

My rb20 done the same (stayed on when i unplugged the afm) everyone has told me that the computer evens it self out but ya cant rev it over 3000 rpm cos it dies. The car goes in to get the zorst finished tomorrow then to turbo tuen wednesday so ill just get them to have a sus. thanks for everyones helps.!

But cos they are both stock it shouldnt be a problem ay?

Its pretty much only got the dump pipe from the turbo cos the zorst isnt quite finished. but it doesnt look like any smoke at all. I though it could also be just cos it doesnt have the zorst on but it run all good for a while with out it (just moving it in and out the drive way). then i tried the afm.

ummm its just the stock ecu and stock afm (r34). i thought i tcould be some thing else but then when i unplug the afm its fine.

ummm nah its got a north to south plenum on it now. and it does ide right for a couple of seconds then starts to die. then i give it some revs so it does die and it struggles for a bit then when it gets to higher revs it seems ok.

What just take it out and spay through it? It all looks band new so dont think its corroded or ne thing.

hey guys i have a rb25 neo in my 31 and i just got it wired up, it ran all good for a while but now it idles real bad and just dies, but then when i unplug the air flow meter the idle is fine but its up at 1500 rpm what i think is normal with no afm. So does this mean my air flow meter is stuffed and it couldnt really be any thing else?? thanks heaps guys

Sorry for opening a new post but had to tell everyone who has called me. The cruise is cancelled for a few weeks cos the oval where everyone was going to finish up got double booked so now we are in the middle of sorting out another oval. The new date will be up soon! Sorry guys

these seem like low numbers to me ay, both my mates stock r33's made about 170 at boost works. and my old stocker pretty shagged rb20 made 134.4.

and i only said if ya can give a little please do, no one had to, we got a bank fund for his kids for their school and stuff. was just gonna throw what eva into that.

ok steve what about that skyline cruise we went on, were drew crashed and the fella in the other car died. You missed that car by a about a centermetre!! Fair enough at the time we were not driving stupid but we were speeding alot before that. Everyone does stupid things. Steven had bought this 180 one week before and had never owned a turbo car let alone one with 225kws. he was following a white car what was going slow so he floored it around them only to have an island there. Was just a bad move by him. Ne one ill pm everyone who wants the location later tonight. thanks guys

ummm not 100% sure yet till we get the report, but we think he was speeding and went to over take some one so pulled out and there was an island there so he swerved to miss it and crashed into a stobby pole.
