  1. Its so crap how this sort of thing happens. Not nearly as bad, but at last years Autosalon, someone took a limestone rock to my R33. This was parked under the convention center too. Got the security to check their cameras, but my car was blocked by a pillar. Hope you catch them man. These people should pay.
  2. Sounds good to me. Who cares about petrol prices... long cruise ftw. If you care about petrol prices, buy a Prius
  3. ^^^ Skylines only jks... whatever you have, bring it along How about late afternoon to an early dinner and then a night cruise back. That way we can get some day time shots and some night time shots
  4. This will give you an idea. Mine are 8.5+35 at the front and 9.5+35 at rear. They fit perfectly. Can't be bothered calculating the difference. If you're not sure how, let me know, and I'll figure it out
  5. Nengun has a few Weds.
  6. Here we go. Kermit's handy work. I know he doesn't build the muffler, but I thought I'd throw it in there for good measure
  7. Hey Marco, With intercoolers, I'm still not sure myself. I'm looking at getting a Blitz front mount, but still want to do some reading up. For the exhaust though, don't get the front dump custom. Kermit will even tell you that. Get one of the stainless front dumps Just Jap make. They are pretty cheap and top quality. With a cat. You can do Karls idea. Means good potential for flames out the exhaust, but doesn't sound as nice imo. Also, the illegal factor is not always a good thing. Either metalcat or catco will be good. Look up the flow rates for each and get one that flows the best. Less restriction the better. Muffler choice is a bit more important than I first thought when I got a muffler for my R33. You need to decide how you want it to sound and how loud you want it to be too. This will determine the shape of the muffler. Important things are that it is a straight through muffler so there is less restriction. If you want it quieter and deeper, get an oval shape muffler. If you want it loud and proud get a cannon. Cat back, get Kermit to do it. He does awesome work. I don't know if you looked at my R33's exhaust at all, but it was done by him. Top quality work. I'll scratch around for a pic and post it up. Hope that helps
  8. First look up as many different kits you can find and decide what you want. Then look for where to get it. No places sell all the options, so if you know what you are looking for, that would be a good place to start
  9. If your window won't work, it may not be the motor. Check the control box. Its a little black plastic box inside the door. Its connected to the buttons and obviously to the motor. Inside this box is a circuit. If this circuit has dry joints on it, which is likely, just heat them with a soldering iron to fix the connections. Then put it back together and see if that makes it work. I did it on my R33 and the window has been working ever since I've heard of this happening on quite a few R33's, so check that first before you go buy other stuff. Could be fixed without costing anything
  10. Hey Kermit... I'll be calling you in the near future too. Got a muffler on the way. Will be ordering a front dump and cat soon. The rest is up to you

    Open Cruise 12th July

I might come later tonight. Going out with a few friends for dinner and movies. They'll probably come too, which means I'll bring an RX7, a couple of WRX's and a couple more skylines... maybe even some others. Not sure on whos coming. Someone who is going PM me your mobile number and I'll give you a call to see where you guys are and we'll meet up.
  16. Thats awesome Thats exactly what I'm thinking of
  17. I was just thinking more people will be open to the idea of posting something. In the FI section, people who show builds generally show major engine overhauls. This section would be for everything. That way, people who want to just say, "look, I've put on a bodykit, my car looks awesome, even though its stock" will feel they can I was thinking, for my car for example, I will be working on it over two years or so. This will include things like bodykit, suspension, stereo, engine etc. Instead of putting a thread in the suspension section saying, "check out my suspension", a thread in the stereo section saying, "check out my stereo" and then a thread in the FI section etc etc. Why not have one thread saying, "have a look what I've done to my car this time". Each member only gets one thread that will get bumped when they add something new.
  18. This is very interesting. Might have to do a little ready. Looks like more money going into my car lol
  19. Definitely doesn't sound right.
  20. I don't remember why
  21. This could turn into quite a long thread Happy Birthday Dan
  22. Just read this thread and I've already been dobbed in lol Um... my rims are floating around somewhere. Either Guy has them or Andrew has them. Don't know if they have been passed on yet lol. I won't get them back for a little while still. I have some 17" rims that you can buy for cheap if you like. Two need new tyres. Make me an offer if you like. Link in my sig.
  23. Any time
  24. Here you go... straight from the red book clicky
  25. I was just thinking about making a new section about peoples builds. Basically it can be split into sections for different skyline models and then the other section. Each user can only get one thread that he/she can update from time to time as his/her car progresses. Then people can leave feedback in the thread on what they think. Don't know if this has been suggested before, but it will be a cool way to show what everyone is doing with their cars.
