  1. I'll come if I'm not working
  2. That depends on a lot. This will give you a rough idea. My R33, I spend $80 per week on petrol. I do drive about 400-450 k's a week though. If you're spending that little, you're probably not driving much. Insurance is $1000 per year. I'm 23 years old with no bad driving history. Remember insurance goes on age, history and where the car is kept.
  3. Good night had by all. Thanks Andrew for organising. For those of you that missed out... have a look at this Before 30 minutes later Marko's effort and a half
  4. I get to make the roster for work, so I gave myself a six day weekend Tonight, going with the guys for the 1kg steak challenge. Enjoy the ruby room man Try and sneak out and go to Minq, its better and we managed to pick up three girls there last time
  5. Its funny how many people have upgraded from an R33 to an R34 My R33 My R34 I know the R34 is still pretty stock, but there are a lot of plans. Plates have been swapped and rims have been bought. Just need tyres now
  6. Yea, either PM me too, or why don't you put up a price list. I think a lot of people will be interested in this. Also, where are you located?
  7. Anyway... enough about Hoonda's Andrew... PM sent I'll be there
  8. Hey Brendan, you were taking pics that day weren't you? Post them up, or send some to me I want to see email [email protected] if you like
  9. Sounds like he has quality mods, which is always a good start. Not China crap Spraying always costs a bit, but since its just the body kit, shouldn't be more than $1k. If the paint is fine on the rest, don't worry about it, just get the kit done. Not too cluey on colours, but some colours cost more due to difficulty to match and/or metallic etc. Whole car will cost you minimum $2.5k if you have a friend who will do it for cash on the weekend or something. Probably more like $3-3.5k. That power doesn't sound too much for a stock turbo at all. With those mods, he's probably uped the boost to about 12psi. That is fine with the stock turbo, but I wouldn't take it much further. It can handle more, but then you're starting to push it a bit hard.
  10. haha... so in other words don't go unless you have a good navigator with you... or maybe a GPS
  11. Oh ok Well in that case, if you are looking to get new guards, speak to fibre vision. They'll probably be able to help you out. There are a few companies that make wide body kits for the R32 GTR Veilside Combination of Do-Luck, TBO, D-Speed and Yanack There are more out there, just look around and see what you like.
  12. Don't worry man. We all feel your pain. I don't think any of us here would've bought skylines if we didn't love our cars. Seeing a skyline in this shape makes us all sad We'll be on the lookout and let you know if we see anything. Hope all goes well and you get this guy.
  13. If it does not rub, then whats the problem?
  14. Still go man. Rain doesn't cause accidents, its people who can't drive in wet weather that cause accidents. Just remember, no boosting around corners, and you'll be fine Don't cancel, you'll get a few people coming. First cruise I organised ages ago only had about 10 cars, but it was still good I won't be coming tonight. Too buggered... been on night shifts this week. Next time though
  15. That really sux man... will keep a look out. So, do they reckon its been stolen or something? *writes taxi number down*
  16. Thats awesome Thanks RusH_ and thanks Rhys for posting it up here
  17. Thats probably cause 10mm is a long way to pump the guards... Might better to get new guards... wider ones. What rims are you putting on that thing? This is a GTR!! Or do you just have crazy offsets?
  18. Hey mate. Maybe try posting in this section http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Se...lines-f170.html Its all related to the V-Series skylines and you'll probably get a quicker response there. Also, more than just the WA guys will look at it
  19. Does it sound like its coming from inside the dash or inside the engine bay. If its from your dash, its just something to do with your climate control. I can't remember exactly what it is, but it makes a crunching sound when you turn the car on. It will also make a crunching sound when you turn the climate control from a low temp to a high temp. You will only really hear these from inside the car. If this is it, then don't worry, it doesn't do any damage. Its just this little piece slipping, but it will all still work If this is not it, then sorry Hope it helps anyway
  20. *cry* I hate shift work.
  21. Yep, thats about right. Genuine parts are always expensive remember
  22. That sux man. Hope you get this guy and get the money out of him
  23. I thought I was going to help you make it lol. Its all good. We really couldn't be stuffed last weekend could we
  24. All it does is close one pipe off at low revs and open it at higher revs on the stock muffler. It is a vacuum valve. If you have replaced the exhaust, then this will do nothing for you as your valve is not longer there
  25. Just Jap will post to Perth. I've bought stuff from them
