  1. haha, yea, the problem is, once all thats done, I'll probably want one more thing, and then another thing and then it never ends lol I'll try stick to the list though
  2. lol... when I saw the pic of the wrx, I was thinking drift + wrx = no work so good, but you seem to have a plan for that
  3. There you go Karl... interior pics added
  4. Thanks Yea, I have pretty big plans actually. I'm building it to mainly compete in the autotest series. For this braking and suspension are key. Also, bucket loads of power will not do any favours, so to start I'll be going for between 200 and 210 rwkw. Here is the list to get there... Engine - RB20 wastegate actuator (increases boost to 10psi) - FMIC - CAI - High flow filter - Power FC (if I can find one ) - 3" turbo back exhaust - Iridium sparkies - Tomei Fuel pump - Surge tank Suspension wise - Tein SS with EDFC - Pretty much a whole heap of whiteline stuff to make everything adjustable Braking - G4 Racing brakes all round with nice big rotors for big stopping power Body Kit - C-West front, sides and rear - z-tune front fenders - Cross Factory rear fenders - 18x10.5 Work Meister rims with some 285 or 295 rubber (lots of grip ) - East Bear vented bonnet - R34 GTR spoiler ICE - Pretty much pioneer everything from head unit to two shallow 12" subs in a custom moulded boot
  5. Hey Guys, I picked up my R34 yesterday. I'm so happy, so I had to post up some pics They are a bit covered in rain, but this is the only gap I got ... and I had to take some pics of the pair edit: and some interior pics just for Karl Sorry about the bad quality of these. Just ran out and grabbed them
  6. Just remembered that I have a 23rd bday to go to friday night Make it saturday instead so I can take the R34 out Going to pick it up now... yay
  7. I might be keen to get the new R34 out. Pick it up tomorrow Depends how dead I am after work. I'm already pretty buggered and its only Tuesday
  8. Yea, good luck Kermit. You'll definately find something soon. Love the exhaust you did for my R33... picking up my R34 on Thursday and it will also need some of your handy work
  9. Hey Paul, I'm going to have to buy another set of stickers from you. When I pick up my R34, its going to need some
  10. Mark, Here is the one as a normal size as well as avatar size. It gets pretty small as an avatar, so I only made the one. Remember to set the size of the avatar to 120x80 so it doesn't stretch Matt, I just searched google for a gif generator. I downloaded something called Easy GIF Animator. Its pretty easy to use. I'm sure there are plenty of others around too
  11. When I had my car accident about 5 years ago, they fined me $100 and three points for negligent driving. I'd say it has gone up since then. Sorry to hear about you car man
  12. If you want something streetable and a good amount of fun, don't go over 250rwkw. Just starts getting a little crazy for the road then. To give you an idea, when I get my R34, I'm building it mainly as a road car, but want to use it to start competing in the Autotest series. Don't want huge power for that as most of the tracks are tight and twisty. To do this I'm going to start with a little over 200rwkw and see how that goes first. To get there I'm getting the following - RB20 wastegate actuator (increases boost to 10psi) - FMIC - CAI - High flow filter - Power FC (if I can find one ) - 3" turbo back exhaust - Iridium sparkies - Tomei Fuel pump - Surge tank Then I will work on suspension and braking as well This will give me between 200 and 210 rwkw and be pretty competitive and a lot of fun to drive. Since I've still got the stock turbo, it will spool up quickly and give good response. The only other mod that I may also add is a front facing plenum. This will once again increase the response that was lost from all the fmic piping going over the top of the engine. I will use it like this for a while, and if I feel I need a little more of a kick, I will look into some more options
  13. Just remember, you might get a cheap paint job now and it will look ok, but will it last. You get what you pay for. With paint, rather pay a bit extra and get a good job done that will last.
  14. The first question really should be, what are you building the car for and what power output do you need for that application. After that you can talk about how you should mod your car. So... what are you building the car to do?
  15. Check out KYP. Go and speak to the guys there. They will get you sorted
  16. Ok... my sister said byo alcohol will be difficult unless you are hiring a hall. Most other venues won't like it. She said to check out these sites. They are quite usefull aparently http://www.functionroomsperth.com.au/typeofvenue.html http://www.amourcharters.com/ http://www.mindariemarina.com.au/ Hope that helps
  17. Find out exactly what you can have. With a pod, it has to be secured and there is probably a size limit.
  18. I'll ask my sister. She does events management, so she knows all the good places around Perth
  19. Do you mean you want to put a turbo on the NA engine, or are you going to sell the car and buy the turbo version??
  20. You haven't said what you want to use the car for at any point. If you only want to use it on the street, and want it to look good, you can go 19's, but I reckon its too big anyway. If you are planning to do any form of motorsport, 18's would be a lot better. Remember, every mod should suit your application.
  21. For sure mark What are the image numbers? ... and also your email address would be good
  22. I thought it was just to hold the glass together a bit better. Don't really understand for plastic though, but a suppose the same can apply. When drifting, there is a lot of stress on the car, so I figured this provides a little rigidity for the lights to avoid them cracking. Might be totally wrong, but thats what I've assumed
  23. Probably a wise decision. Its going to be more trouble that they are worth.
  24. Been playing around with some of the photos... will add a few like this to the album
  25. You didn't look through the photo's properly Its not a huge cloud of smoke, but you made a little bit
