  1. Yep... illiegal. I know a guy who had an accident that ripped half his front bumper off. Cops gave him a yellow at the accident site to fix the front bumper.
  2. If it stops and starts it could be something that is affected by engine temp. Make sure you get it checked properly
  3. You can't The first pic is of a 2 door and the second pic is of a 4 door. The 4 door skylines always have different rear lights. Don't know why they didn't just make them the same.
  4. Take your sensor out and take it to something like an Auto1 store. They can order it in or may even have one in stock. I think its the same as a ford falcon one funnily enough
  5. Need more info. Is your car totally stock? Different turbo? Different exhaust etc? Have you done any recent mods?
  6. Nothing wrong with putting that on your car. Do it for sure. If you're doing it yourself, take your time with undoing the bolts to the turbo. Soak them in WD40 and only go little bits at a time.
  7. Looks like a good cruise. Pity I missed it. Had my christmas fuction for work. Was going to find out where you guys were and try join in late, but the christmas function finished a lot later than I thought it would. Will definately be at the next one. Looks like it was a good turn out again
  8. A really big baring puller, lol... never thought of that one
  9. My first job was at coles a few years back now. For a while they stocked some dodgy tv's. When they went on special, for some reason, they scanned at $5. Since it was store policy that if it scans incorrectly, the first item is free and subsiquent items are for the lower price, many poeple got some really good deals on tv's. Since then they changed their policy so it only affects products under $50. Was pretty funny at the time though
  10. This is how the R33 kit works. I don't see why the R34 kit will be different.
  11. There is a plug that has three wires going into it. One is the positive side of the horn. The negative side of the horn is the metal surround of the boss kit. The other two wires are for the air bag. The plug supplied with the HKB boss kit bridges these two wires. This turns off the airbag light, so you don't snip any cables. They are just bridged.
  12. A friend of mine took his R33 there a few months back and is still talking about them. He was very happy with them.
  13. Oh yea... good point about disconnecting the battery. Forgot about that one
  14. Karlos... to get the airbag wheel off is easy. There are two plastic covers on each side of the steering wheel. Remove the covers and unskrew the bolts. They are extremely tight and require a six pointed star type key to undo. The HKB boss kits supply this key. When these are out you can lift the airbag part out. Just need to unplug the wires. After this, there is just the main nut on the steering shaft that you need to lossen. Once this is off, pull the steering wheel as hard as you can to get it off. Its a good idea to leave the steering shaft nut on about three turns because the steering wheel will give way and hit you in the face otherwise. Now you just need to wire it all up and put on your new steering wheel. There are two options for wires. One will short the horn out and it will be constantly going. This is the wrong option. The other shorts out the air bag sensor. This is the one you want. If you run into any serious trouble... send me a PM
  15. Hey skyryan... it didn't come off the shaft. The little skrews that hold the wheel to the boss stripped their thread somehow. The steering wheel was in his hands and the boss kit still on the shaft. He had to slow down while grabbing the boss kit to steer with.
  16. Ok... just been thinking about what I've written above. I have it backwards lol At lower altitude, you want higher RON and at higher altitude you want lower RON.
  17. Just get a HKB kit. I'm very happy with mine and its good quality. The last thing you want is the steering wheel coming of in your hands while your driving. I know someone who has had that experience... scared the crap out of him

    N/a Cruise?

Happy to help Maybe we should wait for the new year. There is the SAUWA cruise on the 8th and not long after is christmas. I'll send you a PM early in the new year Karlos, then we can organise it I've got maps from previous cruises that we can take the best bits from
  19. I agree to stick with the 98 RON. The reason why we here in Australia can get away with 98 instead of 100 RON, is due to our altitude. Pretty much all of Aus is pretty close to sea level cause its such a flat country. Japan is generally a lot higher. At higher altitudes, you need a slightly higher RON (ie 100 RON) to make up for the thinner air and therefore less oxygen content. I wouldn't go less than 98 as lower may ping in Australia, but I reckon in the high mountains in Japan, 98 would still ping.

    N/a Cruise?

With the amount of traffic an SAUWA cruise causes, there is not much room for going that fast anyway. Besides... its a CRUISE... not a race
  21. lol... I bet a few ppl will still go to city west
  22. Work decided to postpone my trip up to Newman by two weeks. I will be able to make this one now They better not change their mind
  23. Try this http://www.powerproexhaust.com/contactus.html Its the contact details for the supplier. Hopefully you have more luck there
  24. I'm going to bypass it tonight. When winter comes along, I'll decide whether I want a heater or not If I do, I'll be doing it myself. From reading the tutorials it looks annoying and time consuming, but not hard.
  25. I'm pretty sure the Nismo wheels have the same bolt pattern as Nardi. The HKB boss should be fine. When you go get it, just pull it out the box and test fit your wheel to see if they line up with the holes. There are two sets of holes, so make sure you line it up with the correct ones. There is a little arrow on the boss that indicates the upward direction.
