Sounding very much like the heater core then I'm about to leave for Newman on the weekend for work, and I want to put her in for another service when I get back. Guess this is another thing on the list. Anyone know how much it costs to replace a heater core? Never had one go on me before. Just a ball park figure would be great.

That could be it actually. The previous owner never changed the coolent the whole time he owned it I have changed the radiator, pump, top and bottom pipe and thermostat to try and save the cooling system. I also change the coolent every few months to try and get it flushed out properly and get everything flowing.

Speak for yourself. I'm happy to go on cruises with the turbo guys, and I keep up just fine I agree though. Lets get an NA cruise happening

Hey Guys, Hopefully someone can help me out on this one. A couple of days ago I was driving to Fremantle when my GF said that something had dripped on her foot. At the next lights, I had a look, and it looked to be some light brown water. Just one drip. It happened again yesterday, also on her foot. (she wasn't too pleased ) Anyway, I'm not really sure what this is. It wasn't warm at all, so I assume its not from the engine anywhere. I suspect it may be from the drainage lines. Maybe they're blocked or something. I looked at the carpet today and noticed a small brown patch. Looks as though maybe 8 drips or so have occured. Any info you guys have would be great. Cheers.

What kind of steering wheel is it? You can get HKB boss kits from J-Shop. They are compatible with Momo and Nardi. Not sure about others, but will probably work. Just ask. Also, you need an airbag specific one. Its a bit tricky to change it all. If you get stuck, send me a PM. I've changed a couple of steering wheels now Word of warning... when you are pulling your stock wheel off, it feels like its stuck. You have to pull really hard (seriously!!!) To avoid injury, such as black eyes or broken cheek bones, put the nut back on the steering column about three turns. That way when the steering wheel suddenly gives way, it doesn't fly off into you face, but rather stops against the nut

If the engine numbers are the same, then yes, they are the same. Remember, the biggest difference between a four wheel drive and a sports car is the gear box. Not necessarily the engine

Thats where I found everything I need for my R33 -
Pull out a light globe from your tail lights and read the voltage on the side.

What about for motorkhana's? I was thinking about getting one to be used for motorkhana's only. During daily driving I would just turn it off, as said before, its just wank factor. During these sort of events, however, you turn your car on, thrash it around the track, and then go park. No such thing as a cool down lap. As soon as you come off, the next guy goes. Don't like the idea of just turning it off then. Every time I go for a lap, I'll park and let my car idle for a minute just to calm it down before shutting it off. A turbo timer could do this for me. Would that make sense? or is idling after that still pointless?

Have you taken your rear seats out at all. If it sounds like bees flying right around your head, it is probably your fuel pump. I may be totaly wrong though

Rather go back a few times till you get it sorted rather than get it unregistered. Costs bulk to go through the registration process and is a real pain in the @ss. Try get it all sorted first time though PM kermit about your exhaust. He can probably modify it to sit higher for you... and yes... you need a cat.

I'm pretty sure the globes are all 24 volts in the rear lights

I understand that you were just doing a uni project. I know what its like, just finished my degree myself. I'm more dissapointed in the band in misleading us. If that is really their opinions, then be man enough to say it to our faces while we were all standing there. Look... each to there own. It doesn't really phase me too much what other people think. Part of owning an import is some people not being a fan... so whatever. I was just kind of hoping for a video clip that I would want to show people and say, 'Have a look at my car in the video clip'... now I won't bother. -

Did anyone listen to the words?? You go out of your way to help people out, and this is what they sing about. All I can say is, thats the last time I put my hand up to help someone else, because they just spit in your face. Anyway... song will never make it, so who cares -
I was thinking about this actually. More for practicality though. Had an event at the AHG skidpan on the weekend in 37 degree heat. After thrashing the car around the track, I didn't want to just shut it off. It may not have a turbo, but it is still a bit of a shock to the engine. And besides, its annoying sitting in your car letting it run for an extra 30 seconds after every run Just want to get out, take the helmet off and go sit in the shade for a few minutes before the next run What are others opinions on this??

Just looked through all the shots. Some really nice pics there. I looked on your gallery, but I don't see how to get prints. Should I just send you a PM? Also, roughly what price for prints?

Awesome Will be looking through all the photos

From what I can see there, the ones at the top are series one and the ones below are series two. You can tell by the holes that they get secured through. Don't take my word for it though, I'm 99% sure thats right

^^^ Agree with what DRD-00F said. If you really want to put the coil pack cover on, send Brycey a PM. He does a group buy for coil pack covers, so he'd probably know the skrews you need
