  1. Just saw it today... I lol'd
  2. Been there before when I was looking for my car. They are a bit overpriced in my opinion
  3. Anytime Hope both you guys come right soon
  4. Look in the for sale section. There is always some one wrecking an R33. They don't normally advertise the antenna as not many people buy it, so just PM them to see if they have it. Thats what I did and scored one for $20. And don't worry about series I or series II either. They are both the same.
  5. Check out the traders section. I think its RMS motorsport that has a special on Volks atm
  6. Hey, just joined... finally took the plunge and made a facebook lol. Now I got to start hunting ppl down
  7. 1. Boost refers to the forcing of air into the engine by means of a turbo... damn that definition sounded good Basically boost is the pressure at which the turbo is forcing air into the engine. When people say that they boost their car, it means that they are driving it within the boost range. Driving off boost means the turbo is not spooling and the engine is getting air at atmospheric pressure as apposed to boost pressure. 2. R34 GTT's were never sold in Australia, so if thats the price you're looking for, its not possible. If it was, I'd say it would go for a bit more than the current V35. The only reason I say more is cause of the lack of turbo in the V35. So say $60-70k. Some one can probably estimate better than me. 3. Performance is a very broad term. Supras would probably be similar overall, but you need to be more specific. You could mean track performance, street performace etc etc Hope this answers your questions
  8. If you get another assembly with antenna, I'll help you fit it. You have to take your jack out, as well as the brace that the jack fits in. From there you have to loosen all the bits that hold the assembly in as well as a wire holder. You have to pull the whole thing out and un plug the cable and pull the drain tube out. Then to fit in a new one, just do everything in reverse. I'm happy to give a hand on a weekend if you need. Aren't R32 antennas a part of the windscreen? It is built in the passenger side of the windscreen or something.

    Car Loans

Yea, I couldn't find a secured loan either. I paid 11.95% interest. Its annoying, but if you pay it off as quick as possible, then its ok. I had half the value of my car saved first, so that helped.
  10. Don't bother getting it fixed. Strathfield will fix it for something like $150 to $200. Just buy the whole thing off a wreck. It comes as one unit. You can install it yourself, shouldn't take more than half an hour and should only cost about $20. If you really have no idea how, it sounds like there are a few people on here... including myself... who have done it before, so someone can give you a hand.
  11. With steering wheels, as far as I know, its not so much the shape that counts. It can't be smaller than a certain size (don't remember the dimension, about 320 mm I think). It can't cover any of the dials what so ever. Has to be fitted with an airbag if your car originally came with an airbag. Can't have a quick release boss. If I've missed anything, just correct me
  12. I've got some you can borrow. See pics in the for sale link in my sig. Not that great, but would prob be a touch better than stockies
  13. I bought a while new controller for $20 including antenna
  14. If you push it down, will the motor grab it and pull the rest of the way, or will it not go down from any position?
  15. lol at Ryan Can't wait to be working full time. Get some money for the car .... so many plans.
  16. ^^^ True... night would be better.
  17. If you're going for the GTR thing then you could just get a GTR one instead of a NISMO one Just Jap have them for $59

  20. The peaceful silence of the Kalamunda hills. Been house sitting for friends who live near the hwy in the suburbs down the hill. Back home to the relaxed hills tonight mmmmm relaxed
  21. They are not made anymore. The only way is to find one that hasn't been cut (near impossible) and then be willing to pay huge $$$ for it. All kays these days have transponders in them so there is not much point having these keys on the market. No modern cars can make use of them
  22. I graduate at the end of this year I'm at Curtin Uni. Are you at uni doing the same slog.
  23. That sounds really good, but being a final year engineering student means that is not possible In fact... as I type this... I am at uni doing more work on my project as well as other assignments. Can't wait to graduate.
  24. Yea, don't do it with that turbo. Sounds crap
