  1. WGMG People that want to wash your windsreen at traffic lights... and even when you say 'no thanks' they jsut give you the thumbs up and do it anyway leaving water marks over the whole windscreen
  2. ... and one other possible cause is the look of your car. Is there something that provokes them. Doesn't have to be aimed at them, but something that makes them think you're up for a race. I had a few more instances when I got my personal plates. I'd say the same thing applys for other mods duch as a GT wing for example.
  3. I think it depends on the area you are driving too. Where I live... and usually drive... I don't see too much of this behaviour. Sure it'll happen, but I just ignore it and laugh at the stupidity. Over the past 5 weeks, however, I've been house sitting for a friend in a totally different area. Now, with the change in where I drive, I've seen a lot more of this. The other day, driving back from work, I had three different people swerving through traffic behind me to catch up, just to get next to me and do the whole 'reving and bouncing forward thing'. When they got no reaction, they just floored it. That was three in half an hour. Doesn't really bother me though. If they feel they have something to prove, let them do it. At the end of the day, they are the ones who look like d!cks, not you.
  4. I always wanted the line, but when I thought it was out of reach I was looking at 300zx's. Probably would've got one if skylines weren't around, but I decided to save a little longer. Glad I did
  5. I know there is heaps to go through, but if it helps, the stock wheels are 16x6.5+40. From memory they come with 205 tread. One less thing to look for
  6. Seen this place before. Got a friend who had a lancer who wants to take it there. Not my thing, but whatever makes him happy. Have to agree with TurboX about the AWD tho
  7. Too many variables in the test -different drivers -different cars -city driving means inconsistant movements between the two cars Typical ACA. In the end they really proved nothing. What they really need to do, is explain how it works. That way it can either make logical sense, or be dismissed as crap.
  8. Mine did the same thing once. Don't know why. Was it shaking as if the engine was off balance? Thats what mine did, and didn't sound too healthy either. Happened about a year ago and never happened again
  9. Hey Kermit, Got myself a sticker so I don't need to get one from you anymore Damien aka Blackzila had two from when you did his R33, so we now have one each. Above the mufflers
  10. Check our carsales as well as the for sale section on here. You're sure to find something. Otherwise look at importing... always another option.
  11. You won't find an R33 for that price, but you might find a decent R32. They are getting really cheap these days.
  12. You do get RB25 R32's, but they are a lot more rare. They are only the much later model and not many were made compared to the RB20's. If you can get a 25, that would be awesome. Got a little more torque and low down power. The RB20 is still good tho. Both engines are built strong
  13. Thats correct. Only R32 GTS-4's came in a turbo version. R33 GTS-4's only came in non-turbo, so if you find one, it has had an engine swap. Engine would have come from a Stagea most likely as a GTST RB25 wouldn't fit due to the front diff. The whole sump is shaped differently. It may also be an RB25DE + t which you should look out for. If it is a non-turbo engine with a turbo wacked on, you will be very restricted with mods mainly due to the higher compression ratio.
  14. ^^^ Couldn't agree more. I have a lot of respect for other cars and peoples achievements. Skylines are just my thing, but if some guy has a commodore v8 pushing a few hundred horses, I still have a look and think... 'thats pretty cool'. Just cause you're not into a certain type of car, doesn't mean you have to hate it, or abuse the people and/or the cars. Just have respect. In the end we are all just 'car enthusiasts' with different tastes. Why can't people just understand that??
  15. Something that is also very useful is the offset calculator. Give you a measurement of the difference between your current wheels and your new rims. Will help you work out if those new rims will fit - clicky
  16. That is awesome... Can't wait to see it in person
  17. What tail lights are those? Mine stock rear lights are leaking atm, so I've been thinking of getting new ones instead of just fixing the leak. Yours look pretty sweet
  18. It will be expensive as stated above, but it will drop quickly over the years as long as you keep a clean driving record and make no claims. Mine is down to $950 and I'm 23 years old.
  19. I know how you feel man. When I bought my R33, I had it proudly parked right outside my work. Right at the front door where everyone could see it. Came back to it to find a key scratch going all the way down the passanger side. From the back of the rear quarter to the front of the front quarter. I had only owned the car three days when it happened. I could have ripped someones head off! Hopefully it won't happen again
  20. The tab completely at the bottom left of the page. Change the setting to SAU Dark
  21. Before you ask any more stupid questions, use the search function on this site and also use google for a bit... maybe you'll actually have some idea of what you are talking about for future questions.
  22. Read in the forced induction section. There is heaps of info there. Also do a search. This site is packed with info
  23. Mine went down last time... but I will keep an eye out for the next one
  24. Awesome front bar... what is it? Haven't seen one of those before
  25. Yea, pretty crazy at times, but they keep us entertained lol I only have one dog at home, so its a bit different having so many animals, but I'm enjoying it. Only have them for another two weeks.
