  1. I'm really interested in one of these. Can you PM me with details for payment etc. Thanks
  2. I was helping a friend put a pod on his gtst and at the same time having a look at the differences between his engine and mine. I noticed the obvious, ie turbo, intercooler piping etc, but also noticed this box. It seems semi attached to the intake, but I have no idea what it is. I have attached a pic and circled the box in question. Any ideas?? Thanks
  3. There is a tute on SAU and it comes with instructions. As long as you can solder, you'll be fine. If you can't, find a friend that can
  4. Yea... that whole system seems fair in theory... but not very practicle in the real world.

    Bored?

lol... guess I won't bother then
  6. Some of these stadiums are pretty out there. Don't want to even think about all the work that goes into figuring out how to keep these things standing. Check it out here - clicky

    Bored?

Thats pretty cool. Might need to invest in one of these. Would be useful on cruises I probably would've avoided Malaga on the last cruise if I had one
  8. If your going to buy new ones, look in the trader section for splitfire coilpacks. You can get them from sliding performance for a good price. They are really easy to replace. A bit time consuming because of the intake going over the top of the engine. The top middle cover (black cover) on your engine is your coil pack cover. There are about 8 bolts to get this loose. Just use an allen key. You will need to remove the blow by hose, thats the one that connects the two sides of the top of the engine. You can then slide it out. You might also need to take off your intake pipe, but you should be able to just squeeze it past. You have now exposed your coil packs. Each has two skrews to undo and a plug from the wiring harness. When all this is loose, just pull it up. It will make a bit of a pop sound as it comes loose.
  9. Just wondering... I've also got a gts and will be doing the DET swap at the end of this year or beginning of next Guess when I'm all set I'll come speak to you and see how you went
  10. If you want it to be the same as a gtst manual, you will also need to change the diff. The ratio between the auto and manual diffs are different from memory. It is a pretty expensive operations. Between $4-5k including all labour, parts and everything
  11. ^^^ Hey Chi Do you have a DE+T or a whole DET?
  12. Go to the photography section. There is a whole thread full of R33 pics
  13. I'm selling my 17's atm with 235x45R17 rubber. Check out the link in my sig. I'm in WA though, so probably not going to help you.
  14. Some one already put up some pics on page 15 or 16.
  15. It will also reset your ecu.
  16. I know you got the correct bulb, but if they're blowing, it might mean that for some reason the voltage is not right. There may be a voltage leak/surge for some reason. Are the globes definately blown? Are you sure its not a fuse?
  17. Oh... and I'd also like to say thanks to the cops at mindarie. Very friendly Its a pity not more cops are like you guys. It was good to just have a chat, rather than feel threatened. Good work We won't talk too much about the ones in Malaga tho. Not that friendly at all.
  18. Was an awesome cruise. Thanks to all the guys that went into organising. Pity about the odd few idiots around, but with a crowd that big, there will always be a couple. Besides that everyone was pretty well behaved and made for a good night for everyone
  19. If the lights are burning out, its not the contacts. Get a multimeter and test the voltage. That might give you a clue.
  20. Its supposed to clear up a bit later today. So hopefully the weather guys are right... you can never trust what they say
  21. Just got the exact same tyres except the 595ss I got mine from Kostera Tyre Centre. Its up the hill in Kalamunda. Great guys, great service, and good price
  22. Awesome, thanks. I'll keep that in mind
  23. ^^^ They're actually 18's My previous ones were 17's and they just always looked a bit small on the car. The 18's look perfect. Once I get some coilovers, it'll look perfect
  24. I got Federal 595ss in 235x40R18. Did quite a bit of research and these are the ones I wanted. Got them fitted today
  25. Either a fuse, or sometimes you get a small build up on the contacts. I think its a oxidised layer or something. Just get some sand paper and give it the once over to clean the contacts up. The contacts in the fitting, not the light globe btw.
