  1. Thanks Hope your friend likes his pimped ride
  2. How about [NI55AN]
  3. Anyone else notice this thread is three years old
  4. Check out Mr Mag in Morley. They have a fairly big range and I think they carry second hand rims there too. They also do tyres at pretty good prices. If you like, you can have a look at the ones for sale in my sig... they're in your price range, but only 17's. It for a good cause, so I'll even do them at a lower cost for you if you like
  5. Thats a really useful article. I get alternator whine and its been annoying me for ages. Might have to try and fix it now that I have instructions
  6. ^^^ What he said. I had the same problme ages ago. First remove the avater. Then delete everything, and then put in your new avater. That worked for me
  7. I've noticed them everywhere too. Hit one the other day At least I wasn't going too fast. Didn't see it in time because of the car in front of me
  8. Looks awesome... bid on it
  9. Check out Performance Part Australia http://www.pp-oz.com/ Give them a call/e-mail and speak to Thuy. He will get just about anything for you. You may have to wait on some things though, as he gets them from japan when you order them. Have a look at the second hand rims too. Some good buys there.
  10. Its a Power Pro one. Not the most expensive or well known around, but I'm happy with the quality. Sounds really angry too
  11. Mine looks titanium ... but isn't
  12. Its all part of the cost You just need to provide the muffler for Kermit to put on your car as he doesn't supply them
  13. If you do your research... know what you're getting into and budget for it, both are good cars. Just make sure you get a good check on one. If you get a lemon, a GTR or GTiR will cost you an arm and a leg to fix. I know someone who rebuilt his GTiR engine. It cost him bucket loads of money and took him months to find the correct parts. Some where hard to come by. A GTR needing a rebuild will be very similar. Parts may be a bit easier, but still cost a lot. As a few have said, maybe go for something like a gtst. They're a but cheaper and more common. You said you are putting it on your dad's insurance. How old are you? Is this your first car? If it is, both the GTR and GTiR can be a handful for an inexperienced drive. Good luck with the buy, but just know what you're getting into.
  14. I'll be there This will be my first offical SAUWA cruise. Been on a couple of little unoffical ones Be good to meet some of you guys
  15. ^^^ Thats a good idea. What about a trip to york. Have lunch there... go to the car museum, and then make our way back
  16. lol... he got them from japan Which means... since volk are backlogged with orders, he will only get them in Jan next year. Worth the wait tho PM Blackzila if you looking for the japan contact. He is a pretty good guy, and really helpful too. Can get you just about anything
  17. Thats awesome. What kit? Where did you get it? How much... parts and fitting?? I've been looking for this sort of thing. I was looking at the M-Sports ones, but they are so hard to find... especially in WA
  18. Sounds ok... but with wheels that wide it is always a tight fit. Use this site http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp It will help you measure up exactly where they will sit in your arches
  19. I think the nismo ones are discontinued, but as gazza said, the gtr ones are very similar
  20. I just ordered NISZILA... so you can't have that one
  21. Thats right... that means running with an NA diff you'll get faster acceleration, but a lower top speed compared to running with a turbo diff. (correct me if I'm wrong)
  22. Diffs are different. not sure how.... can't remember, but there is a difference
  23. Where are you located... might help I have a stock exhaust if you're in WA. Its in three piece tho, so I hope you're good at welding
  24. PM sent
