  1. Cool, thanks. Will give that a shot
  2. Hey guys Tell me what I'm doing wrong. I have a series 1 R33, I removed the screw that holds the face of the steering wheel. I then removed the nut that holds it to the steering column. Now what am i missing, cause it just won't come off? Cheers
  3. Its an oil pressure guage. When the engine is cold and/or the revs are higher, your oil pressure will be higher. When a warm engine is just idling, the pressure will be fairly low.
  4. Thanks. Might have to look at both places Here in WA we don't have a single Autobarn and the only places you can get momo steering wheels is if you order it in through a small automotive shop. Of course this means it costs more.
  5. Cool, thanks guys. Will check it out. There is not much of a range in Perth. To get this steering wheel I would've had to order it in, but since I'm gonna be there...
  6. Hey Guys I'm from Perth and I'm going to be in Melbourne for a week (15th to 22nd). I was wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of some good automotive shops there that sell momo steering wheels. I'm looking at getting a momo champion (pic below). Any adresses or website would be great. Thanks PS. I'm still trying to get something from google, but not getting much at the moment
  7. Nice Looks a lot more aggressive
  8. Try google, it always works. I found one for you within five minutes. Here's the link... http://www.esnips.com/doc/cbd3944d-6036-4d...d-Bookmarks.pdf Easy huh Hope its english though, when i looked for my R33 manual, I downloaded 2 jap ones before I found an english one. I didn't bother checking this one, but it should be ok. Didn't want to wait for 25 megs at 1:30am If not, just type 'skyline r32 (pdf)' into google and go through all the pages.
  9. Does anyone have, or have pictures of a skyline with scissor doors. My passenger door hinge in my R33 doesn't sound healthy and the thought just popped into my head. Here is a pic of an R32, anyone got some of R33 or R34?
  10. Try google... I found one for my r33 that way. Type "skyline r32 (pdf)", that should find something. That's what I did anyway.
  11. Go the show pony. 350 rwhp is good enough for me. As long as you can beat the commonwhore and rex, still looking good, thats all that counts
  12. South African/Australian White Boy
  13. Btw, how would i go about testing my starter motor, never done that before???
  14. Thanks man, Will look into it
  15. My line has been playing up lately. If it's been driven recently enough (8 to 12 hours max), everything is fine. Say i get home in the afternoon and try to start is the next morning, it will really struggle though. I have to pump the accelerator heaps before it struggles to a start. Is this likely to be my starter motor, or is there another possibilty? If you think it is the starter motor, any idea on prices of a new one??
  16. Something else to also keep in mind. I heard that only momo is an approved steering wheel by insurance companies. So if you are ever in a car accident (touches wood) they could turn around and say, "your steering wheel is not suited to street driving" Don't quote me, but thats what I've been told. Looking for a good one myself
  17. I agree, keep looking. I looked around for months before I found mine. If you're not sure, then its probably not the right one. When I saw mine, it was perfect. Looked like a brand new car (both the engine and interior) Thats what you're looking for. Keep in mind, some repairs can be more costly than you expect. I looked at one that only needed its front bumper repaired. Got a panel beater friend to have a look, and he told me that with the brackets that were missing and the work that needed doing, it would cost over $1000. Too much for just a front bumper.
  18. I wasn't serious Just looking for something a bit different I don't fully like the idea of this vinyl anyway, just thought i'd get some opinions
  19. I thought the first attempt was a bit dark, so a figured out how to lighten the colour of the vinyl. I also lowered my car while i was at it Need that done soon too So, what do you guys think? Good or bad?
  20. I had an attempt at it myself First time I've ever used the program, but it went ok. So, what do you guys reckon, good, bad, ugly?
  21. Hey guys I'm looking for anyone to put this vinyl down the side of my car. Gotta try before you buy Thanks
  22. Its all good... I got new wires and fitted them all in. You'd think a battery change would only take a few minutes, but with all the mucking around I went through, it took a few hours Oh well, at least its done, and I know its done properly
  23. Cool thanks, bit late on the cutting wires part though. I obviously wasn't thinking before, (probably due to frustration) but I just realised that the wire goes all the way through the car into the engine bay. (Obviously) Anyway... Is there a way to extend a wire. With an adaptor or something of that nature, or do I have to get a wire and feed it all the way through. Cause that would be ridiculus.
  24. I just bought a new, bigger battery for my R33. Since it had bigger terminals, I needed bigger clamps. To get the old clamps off I needed to cut the battery wires a bit shorter. The problem is they were already very short. I've got the negative terminal to fit to the battery, only just. But the positive terminal is now too short. With the battery in the boot, it is very hard to see what is going on. Can anyone give me a hand and tell me what to do. I realise I might have to get a new wire, but I can't see where is comes from. Just comes out of the fuse box somewhere. Cheers
  25. I think most cars are made like that now. Saves the driver from finding the correct position again.
