WGMG People complaining about DLS. Some love it, some hate it. Quite frankly... who gives a stuff. We still all wake up in the morning, go to work, come home and go to bed. The suns position in the sky makes no difference.

Don't get it drilled bigger lol. This is the case with most rims. You need to use a socket or a wheel brace that just has thinner side walls. The one that comes with the car is chunky. You can buy it from any place like super cheap or auto one.

I've heard that too, but I'm not sure what the pits say. It may be that you can have them but you can't leave your car while its running or something stupid. Just see what they say I guess.

All of that should be ok, but I don't think your bonnet will pass. You're not supposed to have reverse facing vents. They reckon if there is oil flying up and it comes out the vents it will be all over your windscreen and you can't see lol. Just take it over as is and see what they say.

Yep... thats about right. It will cut the power, but if you're really throwing it into the corner, it won't bring you back or anything. It will just cut power. The rest is up to you.

1. When the slip light comes on, your traction control is working. The main thing it does is over ride your throttle. In other words it closes the butterfly and basically cuts power to the engine 2. Thats not traction control, thats ABS 3. Yes, traction control does work in wet weather. If your car is in a spin, there is not much traction control can do to get you out of it. I'm assuming you slammed on brakes or something while you were spinning. Traction control can do nothing then.

If you're spending all that money, just spend the extra and get a fuel pump. Better than your engine leaning out.

No... you want the ECR33 for R33 and ER32 for R32's The H's are 4 doors from memory. I don't know. Its late and I'm not thinking right haha

I would suggest before you go any further, do some research. You want to have some idea of what you're getting into and at this stage, but your own admission, you know nothing. The R32 was produced in late 80's through to early 90's. R33 was produced early 90's to late 90's. The R32 is 2 litre and R33 is 2.5 litre. There is so much info I can give its just not funny. The thing is you need to look it up. Look through the forum. There is a search button at the top of the page that will help. Also look through google for info and go to carsales to get an idea on prices. Know what you're getting into. If you're buying one of these cars, and expecially if you're modding it, its an expensive game. Know what you're getting into.

Hey man. If you want to get an R34 GTR for your first car, you better be rich. Or your parents better be rich. Its an expensive car and it will cost you a fortune to insure at your age. Never mind just buying it in the first place. On top of that, getting a car with this kind of performance is not the best idea when you're just getting your license. I'm not trying to make a character judgement or saying that you're a bad driver, but you are not experienced enough to handle something with that kind of power. As some of the others have said. If you're really keen on a skyline then get an R32 gtst or even an R33 gtst. You can learn a lot from these before upgrading later. I went from an R33 to an R34, and I'm really glad I did. I learned a lot from my R33 and I knew exactly what to look for and what I want with my R34 now.

I think mine is going to look like that soon haha. Its not 100% atm. I reckon the owner in Jap Land abused it a bit. I'm about to put my first stage of mods on the car, so I don't think it will hold on too much longer. Gonna get one of the Excedy's in the near future. Hopefully it holds out till then

Hey Will, finally got around to checking out your thread. This car looks awesome. Great buy. I'm really keen to see it in the flesh. You must be over the moon!!! I still have my R34 stockies which will get you over the pits. They have near new tyres, so you're more than welcome to borrow them while you source new rims. I'll explain offsets to you and what you need when I see you tomorrow. Its pretty easy. Suspension wise. See if you can find some second hand Tein Super Streets. $800 might be able to get there.

Yea... I agree with Rhys. Doesn't sound like belts. Sounds terrible. Can you give more info? Where is the sound coming from? Intake side, turbo side, front or back etc.

Was a good cruise. Saw the little bingle in the city. Didn't look too good. Other than that, was a good cruise and a good map. Good work to all the organisers Happy Photo's to the rescue

I'd be keen for a SOR meet. I live prett much east, so NOR of SOR doesn't phase me, but more cruising is always cool

Awesome Will be good to see you on a cruise again. Come and show it off. Bet you'll feel more comfortable cruising on a skyline cruise in a skyline rather than the magna lol. But then again, as far as magna's go, it was a nice magna

I got a Do-Luck front bar for my R34 from DMD. They are over east though. I'm pretty sure they have the kit for R32's too Just google "DMD The Image"
