  1. whats a standard crank good for in terms of revs....9000?
  2. I want to know what the consensus is on each of these triple plate clutches and if anyone has first hand experience with either of them. I'm not concerned with pedal feel just about the abilities/performance of each and which would be most suited to a drag application. Also which, if any, would be the nicest to the rest of the drivetrain. Thanks
  3. I would also like to know about the throttle cable...is the stock one used? As well as if the diagram above is applicable to rb26 motors? and +1 for a sticky or archived
  4. I would like one as well and slso live in canada. Put me on the list please.
  5. I understand everything about this concept but I have never seen an RB26 motor out of the bay before...does anyone have any pictures of where these oil feeds are.....and how do you differentiate between which is the 1st feed and 2nd so as not to get confused aboiut which to block and which to restrict? Thanks
  6. I'm in the same boat and was thinking of GT3071R's but came to realize that they would be a bit big for what i want...but I think I settled on these... http://www.turbobygarrett.com/turbobygarre...R_472560_15.htm The graph looks great and will be streetable but still have the gusto to go over the top if I want.... These ones are a good as well but power would be down from the GT2871R's that I mentioned previously... http://www.turbobygarrett.com/turbobygarre...R_472560_15.htm If you know how to read the graphs and have a target for your car just search the Garrett site and you'll find what you want. Plus you wont be paying the "HKS tax" and will still be getting a great product. Hope this helps
  7. I'm also in this boat of trying to choose a turbo for my build...HKS is out of the question simply because of the cost, too rich for my blood. The GT2860R's are a great alternative and would pretty much meet most people goals... http://www.atpturbo.com/Merchant2/merchant...tegory_Code=GRT But I cant help but think if the better, more expandable choice would be the GT3071R's. 2 of these bad boys would do wonders...what do you guys think? http://www.atpturbo.com/Merchant2/merchant...tegory_Code=GRT The 3071 may be a little too big on the trim side so here is another alternative but still bigger than the GT2860R...Thoughts? http://www.atpturbo.com/Merchant2/merchant...tegory_Code=GRT
  8. thanks, that does help. Still would like some input on the RB26 motor though.... Anyone ever done one before? what were your findings?
  9. I've searched on the boards but cannot find the answers I'm looking for. Does anybody now proper specs for the RB26 and leak down figures. What % is safe and what is not? Thanks, Adam
