  1. how much work have you done to the cef toffy? maybe you should keep the 33 and drift that instead? mmm rb25....
  2. Must have been that 33 with the 34 front conversion wogs. Tis the same colour as alans
  3. I've just been thinking the same thing with my exhaust. I want something that sounds good normally, not droney and overly loud cruising, but great when I open it up. If you do go with the Trust PE II get it from nengun, much cheaper! http://www.nengun.com/trust-greddy/power-extreme-ii
  4. No worries mate, good luck with the sale! You should have picked a different profession! then you wouldn't have to get rid of it....
  5. He's in Hobart
  6. Is this your first trip to Tas? or have you been before? if so where have you been previously. If its your first I personally would suggest doing the East Coast! It really is a magnificent area
  7. Like I said before, just get a Jap cooler. If you get a JJ cooler you will always look at it and wish it was a Jap one. If your running for a 400rwkw car, then theres no point getting anything else, besides if thats the power you want, you must be loaded... so just do it... and then dont come back whinging
  8. anDru, You have come here and asked what people think you should do, but you seem to have all the information that you need. You obviously already had your mind made up before you asked the question. I say stick with the information you already have, get your self a Blitz and be happy... Unless you get a Jap brand cooler, your not going to be satisfied that its going to do the job you require, so get one. These guys have extensive knowledge, through experience. If I recall, I think R31Nismoid had a 360rwkw car last time I got any figures? What was/is it Nismoid? Unless you want some good critical advice, dont bother asking questions.
  9. No the excesses are what you have to pay if you have an accident or your car gets stolen, before they fix it. If your car is a write off in any event, they will deduct this amount from the total you get back.
  10. I knew it wasn't much, but I couldn't remember...
  11. On top of the actual registration you have stamp duty, I cant remember how much it is, something like 10%? If the car is not already registered on the mainland, you can get a non registered permit from service tas for like $40. This allows you to drive your car from where it is, to where ever in Tas, to get inspected and then registered. Without this unregistered permit, you are unable to get your car insured until it is registered. Ive heard of some guy who had bought an R34, didn't do this, was going to get insurance the next day and had an accident, car was a write off... Insurance, I'm with Just Car, and pay nearly $900. I'm under 25, so it could be less for you. Just Car have a really good insurance quoting system on their website, so check it out.
  12. Im with sillylankan! Standard Series 2 with the Optional Lip FTW
  13. In the last few months BP have introduced 98Ron fuel (finally) in Tas. It's in very good supply now and is the only thing thats been in my car since its been in Aus
  14. Does Dr Drift do remaps for series 2 ecu's? If he does, can you send your ecu to him and get him to just take off the R&R and speed cut??
  15. You should contact Nisswreck, they are wrecking an R32 atm, and have another on the way.
  16. Hey I was wrong the other day when I said about the clutch pressure, it was in pounds not kilos.... my bad. I could have swore Jim said kilos, but when I opened the box last night it was pounds. So, sorry on the mis info guys!
  17. I got mine today, pretty happy with that! not that its going to help me for almost another 2 weeks... At least petrol is going to be cheap... *calls out* "mum, car needs refill" Aus Post is completely swamped me thinks...
  18. BUMP
  19. I'll find out when its done... dont really care, as I wouldn't really take my car to anyone else unless he retires. He's coming off holiday for the day to do it for me. Jim told me the standard gts-t clutch is rated at 1550kg, the GTR is 1800kg... In the long run I'm looking for about 250rwkw so I wanted to play safe and get one rated at 300 good luck on getting yours in, I'm going to have to bus around and borrow cars till then.... not cool, nothing that I can borrow compares to the line
  20. Im just getting an organic as well, just be easier when reversing/parking and stuff. It ended up costing more than I would have liked, but if your going to do something, do it right. It was $880, including postage. It has 3200kg clamping pressure and will be rated up to 300kw. Im not too knowledgeable with installing and stuff, so off to my trusted mechanic, hate to think what its going to cost, but least I know it will be done well.
  21. What sort of clutch did you end up getting WogsRus?? Mine went last week too and I bought a Jim Berry, should arrive today, but I cant get it put in till the 2nd...
  22. Yeah the competition in here is deadly.... or dead So far we have 6 posts this month (7 including this one), and more than half of those have been in the last 6 hours... woohoo, tone it down fella's!
  23. Then BS it is!
  24. Pretty sure I saw al_r33 this morning at Rosetta, heading away from the city!
  25. I came by a cheap Apexi Filter, and I like the look of them so I put that on. So now I have this left over. Your right, they do have a great induction noise. The Apexi isn't quite as loud, shame...
