  2. What: Used HKS Mega Flow Airfilter (Mushroom type) with adaptor and brackets Price: $80 ono If anyone is interested PM me!
  3. I hope you haven't gone and bought those new filters pads, because I think its a waste of your money... The HKS filters are rubbish, and when you can afford it, I suggest that you buy yourself a couple of A’Pexi Power Intakes I recently read this article: http://mkiv.com/techarticles/filters_test/2/ Then straight away went and bought an A’Pexi from bigsully84. The crap inside the HKS filter and adaptor was amazing when I took it off, and I hate to think what it does to engines… If you sell off the HKS filters you should be able to recoup most of the money. Anyway, give it some serious thought!
  4. someone must have some thoughts on this... please?
  5. Gday guys, Im interested in this system as it is suppose to improve mid-range torque, and having the twin mufflers I also assume it would be a little quieter than most 3" systems. It is suppose to have a 65mm (2.5") inlet from the cat to 2 70mm (2.75") pipes. So the twin pipes sound fine at their size, but the initial 65mm inlet seems like a bit of a restriction on the whole system Has anyone had any experience with this system, or what are your thoughts on it. http://www.apexi-usa.com/product_exhaust_d...0&pageNum=1 Cheers
  6. Cheers, Todd I had the day off yesterday so I got in and washed the bitch up. Apart from chiseling the paint off the windows which was fun..... I was really surprised at how easy it was to clean, and hardly took any time. The wheels took me 5 mins max each and were done in one go, which is a huge step up from the 15mins each and 2 to 3 goes on the mags on my mums car. I fixed up some brackets so that i didn't have to cut the front number plate up and it fits really well, needs a little adjustment and it will be done.
  7. Gday, Nice work on the pick up, looks like its in excellent condition! Hope your having as much fun as I am! Let us know how the upgrades go, and the figures your getting afterwards. I'm interested, as I'll be looking at them soon enough. See you around.
  8. Gday guys, I posted up yesterday, but it seems to have disappeared with all the issues... I finally got my R33 on monday!!! Let me just say that Skylines, are flipping AWESOME!! never driven a car that is so fun. All I have to do now is figure how to put the damned number plate on the front, and give it a good bloody clean. Theres is this dark oily crap all over it (I think it might have been sprayed on, when it came from japan, but who knows)... Anyways, just thought i'd follow this up, and let yous know. See yous around!
  9. so yours is definitely gone?? are you going to get one high-flowed while yours is still just going? I think this is what I'm going to do, if I ever get around to doing anything with the turbo
  10. thats great new! thats convenient it was outside your girlfriends place..... a little too convenient!!! has she been taken for questioning?? was there any damage done?? ahh, my bad, misread that....
  11. I can only imagine how that would feel! I’m up north at the moment, but I will keep an eye out for it here and on the way back home. Good luck with the recovery!
  12. Again, thanks for all you comments. emsta2003, I saw these wheels on another Skyline on the Prestige Motorsport website and thought they were awesome. I was actually going to see if I could get a pair after I got the r33. The original pics I saw before I bought it weren't great quality and didn't realise they were the same. So when I got the pics above to find that it had as set I was bloody wrapped! As for mods, I think it just has a cat-back, airpod and turbo-timer... I still haven't got the car, and Im expecting a call today from the Compliance Shop today, they should be able to tell me everything its has. I'm hoping that it will be done by the end of the week, so I can get it on this weekends Sydney Spirit. If its not, then I'm going to have to wait another 2 weeks after that. As for the cost, all up I'm expecting it to cost about $19,500. Still waiting on final costs from the Compliance Shop. I did pay about $600 more for the car than it should have cost, due to the exchange rate on the day I transfered the money to japan. So if anyone is looking to privately import a car, check that on the day you do the TT. I had been checking it, but I was just so excited that I just bought a Skyline I transfered the money as soon as I could. $600 could have got me a turbo back, with money left over....
  13. Thanks guys!! Its done 70,000 k's. The inside looks pretty tidy, but you can never really tell those things till you sit in them. cant wait either way.
  14. Hi All, I'm Gerard, I used to own a Nissan Gazelle, till about the end of may when the engine died! Since i've organised myself an R33 Gts-t, which came into Sydney over the weekend. So looks like its probably going to be about another 3 weeks or so till I can actually get it, but I just wanted to say g'day to everyone! Everyday is getting more exciting with its impending arrival, especially considering it has well more than double the Gazelles power output! (not saying its anything special, its just the gazelle was a good car, but hardly a sports car!) Heres a few pics of it in the Japanese Auction yards. Let me know what you think!? Its going to be great to finally join the club in skyline ownership! See you all around the Forum. Cheers, Gerard
