    i never park in those carparks, when i go to civic i try and park on the main street (bunda) or northbourne.. depending on where im going.. hate those dodgy carparks, no security no nothing..

    i went to bunnings today and bought Shelleys Industrial Grade Silicon Sealer 401.. Removed the electrical tape from the coil packs and resealed with some silicon.. waited around 4 hours so it dries up nicely n took the beast for a thrashing.. i must say, it does seem more reliable to use the silicon.. when i took my coil packs out today, i did notice the tape had shrunk a bit a little bit over the split..

    get the engine of the r32 checked out along with a compression test if ur thinking of swapping.. especially if its from a dealership..

    good luck getting to it dude, took me almost 2 hours to get to it, you might have to take off the left tappet cover..

    for ur turbo question, i reckon ur turbo might be on its way out.. is it a stock R33 turbo? how much boost are you running? for ur second question, its seems ur mate is having coilpack problems which are common in R33s.. check out the following thread for help.. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=119403

    did it have J Racing decals on it? if so, its slow.. i gave him a run from fyshwick lights comin into qbn, looked back in 4th and he was 3 car lengths behind..

    try checking ur intake piping for leaks or maybe retune ur pfc dude..

    im not planning on crashing, this is the whole thing.. and as for being niffty, i heard ppl have had broken jaws and noses due to air bags in crashes.. they are more like a brick then a soft bag.. lol

    this problem usually arises in winter.. id say its the coil packs Whiplash..

    mine is early 95 R33 i think its S1 though, S2 came out early 96 i think..

    ive had mine like this for about 4 months now, i still havnt had any problems.. but it sounds more reliable to use shelleys ind. silicon.. thanks for ur post QRI05E
