Pic Of The Stock Cooler Pipes In The Engine Bay Of R32
Sean'O replied to ryan101's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
hey mate, Yep, Jonboy is right on the money, the bumper is quite easy to remove. Just remember is should very easily come off, if you need to force it you've probably missed a screw (remember to get the ones under the indicators ) Here is a pic from the manual... Cheers, Sean -
Factory Gtr Injectors
Sean'O replied to Sean'O's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
They certainly are mate, Here are a few pics.....They are a tad dirty because I pretty much took them out and then put them straight into a zip lock bag , all working fine though The lines on the tops of the injectors was from me numbering what cylinder they came out of -

ha ha, now that you mention it it's really obvious, never noticed that before .......I've still got some stripper left over from my plenum so I might do it this weekend Have you striped your FMIC? The white paint behind the front bar is also um...questionable ha ha, don't think the guy even took the front bar off when it was sprayed...and then he also couldn't be stuffed masking it properly *face palm* -

Yep correct mate, that's the blow-by piping that returns air coming out of the blow off valves back to the intake of the turbo's, it's called the "recirculation tube" according to the manual. I'll have a squizz at the cooler when I get home from work but I think your logic is right, it's probably around 3" diameter Perhaps some of the other RB26 lads can jump in before I get home and clarify this one Cheers, Sean -

Hey lads, Sorry for getting back to ya so late in the evening, had a very busy weekend. Hopefully these pics will show everything you guys wanted to know In terms of mounting the cooler, from what I could see there are two brackets either side of the cooler which are removable and there is a bolt that connects onto the bottom of the radiator dead center Cheers, Sean -
Ohh right, Nahh the 32's don't have the GTR symbol in the center of the wheel, see below the R33 GTR steering wheel and then a 34 GTR steering wheel...

Here ya go bud, this is for an RB26DETT, hope this helps you out... -
Hey mate, According to this --> http://boostbitz.com/index.php?main_page=p...products_id=210 and this --> http://www.paulr33.com/diagrams/airflow-meter-wiring.html Your RB25 should have the same size diameter AFM as my RB20 (where it was originally mounted) so it'll mount fine I'm on the east side of Melbourne and happy for you to have a look/ trial fit it if you like? Cheers, Sean

Hey, Before this DIY just to reiterate my car does not have an airbag, if your car does you may have to hunt around to find the correct procedure to remove your steering wheel as you don't want the airbag going off in your face. The usual warning applies too, do this at your own risk, I'm only showing how I did it, I'm not responsible for any damage to your car Difficulty: Low Time: ~30 - 60 minutes Tools you will need - Screwdriver set - Socket set (preferably a very sturdy big one, with extension bar and a 19mm socket) - Mallet (Rubber type) Note: Make sure your wheels are dead straight when you do this so it's easy to put your steering wheel back on straight! 1) Unhook the negative terminal off your battery or alternatively remove the horn 10 amp fuse from the fuse box in your engine bay, do this to save your neighbors all the honking lol 2) Locate your steering wheel 3) Get a very (VERY) thin flat head screw driver and very gently slide it under your horn button and lift up. You may have to do this from several angles so it comes out nice and smooth. For God's sake take your time and don't damage anything, not the strongest piece of equipment in your car, but having that said it's pretty easy. 4) Disconnect the power cord going to the steering wheel button 5) Remove all bronze Phillips head screws from inside (the deeper one is grounding the horn button, just remember this will have to go in back the way in came or your horn won't work 6) Remove the plastic rim that was holding the horn in place (again, be gentle) 7) Remove the metal....thing.... from the center of the wheel (it'll just slide out) 8) You are now looking at a big silver nut, grab your 19mm socket and loosen it off but don't take it off, keep it just hanging on by a few threads 9) Grab your mallet and gently but firmly tap the back of the steering wheel whilst supporting it with your knees so it doesn't rattle everywhere, you may have to alternate sides every now and then, just take your time 10) Once the wheel can be "rocked" free, look behind the steering wheel and you'll see a white electrical plug, disconnect this plug 11) Take off the silver nut (remember it was hanging on by a few threads so the wheel doesn't fly off when your pulling on it) 12) Take off the backing plastic shroud and you'll be able to remove the electrical cord Done! Prior to installing the wheel again, put a little bit of grease on the "teeth" of the steering column as this'll make it slide back on nice n' smooth (plus it'll make it easier to remove the steering wheel in the future) Installation is the reverse of the above steps, Any comments or improvements are welcome, Cheers, Sean

That's good to hear , hopefully the tune comes back good Yeah it's going okay, got a few funny electrical issues happening, ABS and 4WD turn off intermittently which is kinda scary, gotta just get some time to diagnose what's going on. Got a feeling it may be one of the wheel sensors or the G-sensor Did the 100k service a little while back, it's almost up to the next 5k service, haven't got my hands dirty for a while so looking forward to it But yeah, other than the electrical bugs it's all good -

Ohh cool , did you calibrate it yourself? Didn't know that could actually be done lol Nahh that's okay mate, I bought a replacement one from the wreckers so it's all yours, never know, you might need the steering cover one day Fantastic, please let me know how you go with the wiring, would love to hear it all works okay for ya Cheers, Sean -
I'm rolling in a 1983 Mazda 323, it's just tipped half a million km's and she's still going strong Had to replace the radiator a little while back but other than that couldn't pick a single thing wrong with it If I had to pick a different car it would probably be some kind of Carolla Cheers, Sean

Hey mate, I've got one lying around if you haven't sourced one yet? Cheers, Sean
