Hey all, I'm selling a genuine HKS mushroom type pod filter complete with an adapter, this came off my old R32 GTS however I now don't have a use for it since selling the car Item is located in Victoria, pickup is preferred (probably somewhere in the Melbourne CBD or Eastern suburbs), however I can arrange for postage to other states at buyers expense Asking price is $150 for everything (pod with filter, rubber adapter, metal adapter) If you have any questions please leave a comment below, I can get more pictures upon request Cheers, Sean

Factory Gtr Injectors
Sean'O replied to Sean'O's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Do you mean the small black rubber rings at the top of the injectors? If you are, ask a injector specialist they'll probably only charge ya a few dollars for a brand new set Otherwise if you were after injector seats you can get some from here --> http://justjap.com/store/product.php?produ...8207&page=2 Cheers, Sean -
That was me mate , yes indeed I was waving at ya lol My GF was wondering what i was doing.....(she's not a car person ha ha) Very clean 32 you've got

Wheels looks stunning mate :-), what product did you use??
-
Hey bud, I was in the same boat as you about 6 months ago except the GTR I bought was a bit rough around the edges and had quite a lot of defect-able items (the usual blow off valves, loud exhaust, pod filters, too low bla bla bla) I put a lot of effort into making it legal over several months and I don't have any issues whatsoever (I'm from the Knox area lol). Is it worth it? Getting home and seeing that beast smiling in your driveway is like nothing else! Drive responsibly and you'll have no problems mate, you should come down to an SAU meet so we can see it Cheers, Sean

For Sale: Apexi Boost Gauge
Sean'O replied to Sean'O's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Hi Bri & Marshall, As requested I've taken a pic of plug at the back of the boost gauge (sorry for the rough image, just using my mobile phone....camera has gone walk'abouts lol) If you can't make it out in the pic, the plug at the back has three small pins, the plug itself is very small, around half the size of my pinky fingernail (hope that clarifies what kind of plug it is ) Bri, Sorry for not getting a PM to you today, run off my feet at work, however I had a chat with Marshall on the phone (on the train home a few minutes ago) and I've agreed to drop the price to $125 (that'll be the lowest I go). If you want everything posted out to Geelong, (according to Australia post website) it'll be around $6 for normal post and around $10 if you want express with a tracking number (however you'll probably get it within 2 business days my guess so it's probably not worth going the latter) Now I can't "guarantee" the light will work on the gauge because the previous driver didn't hook up the power but I can only assume it'll work Anyway, since both of you guys are pretty keen on this gauge and I don't want to make it unfair, whoever posts first back on the thread with "I'll buy it" gets the item......unless you guys want to meet up and have a game of paper, scissor, rock? Cheers, Sean -
For Sale: Apexi Boost Gauge
Sean'O replied to Sean'O's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Hey bud, Sorry, I'm not the best with a camera , I'm 99% sure there is a small white plug just below where the vacuum line goes into the back of the gauge which I can only assume does the illumination (I'll check for you when I get home) However I never actually had the power cable that connected to this gauge (it came with the car), this would have to be sourced from a wreckers or something like that Cheers, Sean -

Did You Use A Gasket On Your Throttle Body Adapter?
Sean'O replied to soturi's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Ummm, if your car didn't have a gasket when you got the car I can only assume the gentleman before you took off the plenum and didn't fork out the cash for a gasket This is the one you're after --> http://justjap.com/store/product.php?produ...=318&page=1 You might need one of these too --> http://justjap.com/store/product.php?produ...=318&page=1 . If you don't have one, get one! A lot easier to fit it now than later Your GTR service manual will take you through installing these puppies, ohh as mentioned above, I also went to Autobarn and got some of this liquid gasket just to be really sure everything is sealed up tight (only need a very tiny amount on each surface, no need to overdo it --> http://www.autobarn.com.au/AB_images/produ..._1197430754.jpg Cheers bud, Sean -
Did You Use A Gasket On Your Throttle Body Adapter?
Sean'O replied to soturi's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I used a brand new gasket set from Nissan & applied a very thin layer of silicon intake gasket just for good measure (on every gasket surface), both of which are pretty cheap, well worth spending a few bucks than loosing boost Cheers, Sean -
Hey bud, I've got a lot of my GTR parts through a wreckers in Knoxfield, give Paul a call on 9568 4887, they are located @ 54 parkhurst dr knoxfield, really nice guys You might get lucky however I've got a hunch windows would be in short supply given all the hail damage around the state Cheers, Sean

Great pics guys! This was a great night out Ohh Jaymie, you have PM about that rubber sheeting I was talking about , only just got onto the forum today, work has been killer lately lol

Hey mate, Yeah he did mention that the bonnet may be a bit difficult to repair without stretching/ cracking the paint as the aluminium stretches more. He recommended when I get the roof assessed (cracked the paint so not suitable for PDR) to see how much the bonnet would cost to be fixed as they may be able to get the whole thing done cheaper if they do the repair and spray (at least he was honest eh ), the rest of the dents he was pretty confident about (including the front fender and boot). He hasn't sent me the total figure yet (going to be sent via email) but I'll let ya know how it goes... If the bonnet turns out to be a throw away job I might hit up Import monster and wait for the right one to pop up, or maybe one of those ADR approved fiberglass ones

Hey all, Thought I might update you on my progress, going to see the first of a few PDR guys this arvo to assess the "fixable" dents on the car, as a rough guess I think it's going to be around 1k but I'll let you know (I've got 5 large dents, two bonnet, two front driver fender and one on the boot, all about 50c piece size) FYI: the guy is doing a "group assessment" of about 20 + cars as he's just been inundated with calls for help, the assessment will be @ 6B Westbury Grove St.Kilda East Victoria today only (Sunday 14th), from noon till around 4 PM. I'll probably get there around 12:30 - 1PM, if you see a white GTR give me a yell . Here are the PDR guy's contact details --> http://dentsmart.com.au/id1.html Cheers, Sean
