  1. Dude, dont take it over with no cats. Its a massive fail and they can fine you for it. Put new tyres on as they will likely pick them if they are close to being done. Cancel your appointment and sort out your issues first is my opinion. Clint Visa is fine, but i dont think they take AMEX lol
  2. Maybe its been decided to not go any further? Police will abort a pursuit the moment it gets too dangerous/deadly to anyone (themself, public or suspected criminal) and this can be deemed several ways....so again, with out knowing the complete story of that certain pursuit, it would be hard to comment much further on why or how the Excel driver got away from 2 police vehicles. My guess is it was not due to the driving skill of the police involved IF that is what you were implying. And, have you spoken to anyone about your concerns on this matter? Be it politians at any levels or the Police dept/commisioners office etc??
  3. Ill ask Today Tonight to get to the bottom of this story!
  4. Id like to know what they define as 'Country". Is out the back of Mundaring and or Bullsbrook etc considered country?
  5. I imagine they will just get permits to close it off to the public for an allocatted amount of time/days. It will certainly cut the budget a bit.
  6. Hmmm is it that they are not honest, or in a 30 minute time slot certain aspects/evidence that have been filmed and recorded may not be able to be shown? I wish it were a 60 minute show....then maybe we could get all the facts from both side of the story to make a non-bias educated opinion before we are outraged.
  7. They probably are. But why ruin an awesome story that could get awesome ratings and responses by putting in facts that may take away some of the public impact. Ever watch MediaWatch on the ABC? Interesting show.
  8. Yeah it doesnt make a lot of sense. The haul pack roads at the back of Collie would be awesome for police testing. We used some of those roads for the Dutton rally. I would have thought the big cost would have been track hire. They would hire collie and get accomodation etc as it would still be cheaper than hiring wanneroo. I dont think all the information is in that news article. Just to justify my comment on cost....Wanneroo is about $3500 a day, collie is about $1200 a day? Might not be 100% accurate but i think its about there.
  9. I kind of support this idea. Teaching these upcoming police members about car control etc on a race track or speedway etc doesnt really have a great deal of relevance to street (unless of course your high speed pursuit is at kwinanna Motorplex lol). Grip levels are different, vehicles are different....even little things like road camber can play a big effect on a car and driver IF evasive action is needed. I would think that it would make these guys better and more skilled when they become 'pursuit' drivers or what ever they are to become. Its very easy for the media to make it sound worse than it is and if you are already against certain laws and some members who enforcing it you will instantly have this sort of knee jerk reaction...its what the media thrive and prey on. When they are doing their training 20kph above the limit on the freeway or St georges terrace at 3pm on a weekday, then ill be against this plan Lets get ALL the information first
  10. Guess it depends on the finer details. Cant see them doing this on the freeway etc....it will be closed off roads somewhere away from the public etc.
  11. Interesting...true cold air for sure! Just wondering though, when cruising around the streets you would have fan speed 1? Track use fan speed 2? Dyno comps fan speed HIGH? What power increase at the treads would it make between fan speed low and high on the Dyno? Does the extra HP do anything considering the extra weight of the ducting?
  12. Same problem with you double adjustable set up....who is going to set it up? How do you collect Data? To hard and time consuming with out the product support locally.
  13. Problem with buying from Japn is the insecurity of the transaction, and the after sales support (warranty issues etc if any)
  14. Exactly! Yes we are open from 8-12 on Saturday
  15. If only the front right is low, and the back is level, when you level the front, the back may go out. Cutting springs is a bad idea for many reasons....and yes it could easily cause the car to be crooked. Happy to take a look at it if you like. You dont have to go coilovers. Im sure we can find a package/setup to suit your needs and budget. Cheers Brad
  16. Hey mate, The question is what is causing it to be 15mm crooked? Which side is low, and is it front and rear? Have we (WA SUSPENSIONS) had a look at it? If you want track type work, then coilovers are the way to go for adjustments etc. Cheers Brad
  17. Tocchi hope you get the stuff back some how mate.
  18. Plenty of people are getting done with this. Several people at Gr33die's work have had accounts cleared. Hope they can stop it soon.
  19. Id go GTR over WRX anyday because i dont want to die by understeering into a tree.
