Just to put it out there: Would people be interested in a show and shine? I can find a venue (park or something) where we can just display cars for the day. No driving events etc.
  3. When i bought my Skyline it was advertised as $22,999....i drove it out for $16,900
  4. Try West Coast Wheels. He stocks alot of those type of wheels
  5. Who can you blame speeding on then?
  6. Are you going to take it further or just pay the fine?
  7. Are you talking about jacking both wheels on 1 side (NASCAR pitstop style)?? If you are, id not recommend doing it on a road car. Caged race car will be alot stronger obviously
  8. Mr Officer got it wrong.
  9. I might go build an RB30.
  10. Thread is getting boring. There we go!
  11. Story would be better with a few dragons.
  12. Stock....or live with it. Or do what bubba would do.....put a 30 bottom end in
  13. You built a 30 out of it and now it doesnt stall? ALl that in a day? TOP EFFORT Seriously though, what was the problem? BOV?
  14. This is my first thought to. Bubba, why dont you suggest putting in 30bottom end....its your solution for everything else.
  15. Autoworx in Wangara does good deals on the Split Fires i believe. If he cant help, try some of the other performance/import shops. XSpeed, C-red, Hyperdrive etc etc. Have a look at the consolidated workshop thread here http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Co...hr-t191756.html and maybe call around to see who has them. Fitting them is an easy half hour job. Fairly straight forward but if you cant do it, im sure one of the workshops can help. Good luck mate.
  16. At a guess this happens around 4500rpm? Probably has between 80 000 and 100 000km on the clock? Its your coil packs. If you do a seach, youll find 11ty billion threads on this. Get a set of split fire and chuck em in....your problem will probably be cured
  17. Really. Might bring my son
  18. Get which ever YOU prefer....its your car.
  19. HAHA One day when its not raining.
  20. Incorrect. Companies would have insurance to cover your vehicle while it is in their care.
  21. Firstly, when you choose a workshop to do work for you, then you obviously trust them with your car. I do not know you, therefore i would not leave you my car for you to drive it. There have been several members on this forum that i trust with my car and those people have also been given the chance to do laps on the track with my car. Thos members have driven my car further than 2.6km, faster than 80, and have hit the limiter.....Its no big deal....the car was built to do such things. When a workshop takes your vehicle, they do take responsibility for it. If it had been hoon lawed then i would be the first to stand behind with support for a thread like this. If it were damaged, then the shop is responsible for that. It happens...accidents do happen. If they used the car to drive and pick up some parts then i agree thats a bit of a prick of a thing to do, but i certainly wouldnt have gone to these lengths. Humour me, can you PM the workshop to me please?
  22. Yes i would feel violated if you went throguh everything i owned. However that did not happen. A car was driven 2.6km and reach a top speed of 80kph. I think your comparison is completely the wrong end of the scale.
  23. But you said you didnt want anything from them. So whats to agree on? What outcome would you like to happen? Assume the manager says 'ok we drove the car to repco to pick up a part'. Then what?
  24. Oh i see. Makes sense then.
