  1. Wow, this thread is still open!
  2. You confessed so your obviously guilty. I wouldnt fight it in court. JUst cop it on the chin and pick up your car next week. Stir shit with them and they wont be as leinient next time. Lesson learnt id hope! Kwinanna Motorplex, Collie Raceway, Wanneroo Raceway, AHG, plus the speed series events (which run from perth through to albany i believe) are all great ways to get the 'hooning' out of your system legally....and you may actually learn a thing or 2 about driving properly. p.s. chucking donuts on gravel is a bit 'bogan'...just saying hahaha
  3. Depends on what your trying to acheive. If the bushes are worn/leaking etc, a lot of guys put in the lock rings as a bandaid fix to stop the subframe moving around on worn bushes. If you change the bushes and have track days etc in mind, then the lock rings will still be benifical as having the rear movement 'locked up' will give the driver better feeling to what the rear of the car is doing.
  4. I had Iridiums but they actaully caused problems...took them out, went to copper and problems have never come back.
  5. lol ummm please dont. Greg, a couple of guys have pulled the subframe out and we have just done the bushes because yes you need a press to remove and refit the bushes correctly. Will talk about it on Tuesday anyway.
  6. It is worth the effort....but its a huge job. Id not recommend trying it yourself with out putting in a lot of thought about it hahaha
  7. Changing the rear subframe bushes is a major major job. We charge 'approx' 10-12 hours to do the job.
  8. The same as silvia's basically.
  9. I think if your not prepared to take the car to show repairers to quote it accurately, then expect them not to care too much and quote high. if one quotes you $1000 and then the bill comes to $3000, then you need to cop that on the chin as they never saw what it was they were working with anyway. Quoting damage repair with out seeing is something almost all repairers wont do.
  10. What parts do you have exactly? Just the 4-8 lock rings or the subframe bushes aswell? To solve confusion, why not bring the car and the parts to me today or tomorrow and we can put it on a hoist and ill try to show you waht needs to be done.
  11. If it is Kerry Wade, Id still listen to his instructions anyday. Crashing in a Targa event is way to easy for even the best drivers......every one can make mistakes.
  12. Kerry Wade?
  13. Coud possibly do it all tomorrow if you wanted mate. Otherwise, next week will be ok.
  14. Nah was not ignoring you at all. As i sent the reply the computer system here went wierd....we lost heaps of stuff I dont have your orignal message any more but from what i remember: Lock ring fitting $110 approx Wheel Alignment (4 wheel) $88.
  15. It will be released in the members section first. If spots are not taken, it will then be released to the public members.
  16. Easy job mate! Shouldnt take anywhere near 6 hours. The Ali lock rings have the slot cut out of them??? did you not get my PM the other day? I wrote it up but we had computer issues that day.
  17. Greg, AHG do run public driver training events. They are only single skid pan events aswell. SAUWA is looking into running a double skid pan event in the near future (stay tuned). You would be more than welcome to enter those events aswell if you like. In fact, id actually recommend it aswell. I think alot of guys like club events because its a bunch of Skylines all at the same time, its a great social event even if your not driving. I recommend doing as many of these driver training events as you can as you will find you get different instructors each time, and each instructor has things they will pick on and teach you. We are looking at our event being run late July.
  18. NAVIN FTW! Known as onthehunt on these forums!
  19. Yeah have thought about it....but not this time.
  20. At this point yes.
  21. Yes its possible but at this stage late august for it. Just keep an eye out for a thread about it. single skid pan will probably be 29th July Afternoon. Dont tell you want in yet....wait for the official thread tonight or tomorrow all things going well.
  22. Wont be on the track for a weekend event due to the V8 Rides using the track. I was told by AHG i can hire the track on a weekend at a cost of $8000 as thats what the V8's make them
  23. This was the day i organised in the middle of summer??? The way it will work is when i get a date secured it will be advertised for 16 people at $xx. Its being worked on as we speak and would hope to have it released to you guys by the weekend. AHG has never advertised club pricing etc on the website that i know of.
  24. Bubbe, you have spoilt all the fun.....but your correct! Any thing like these are considered weapons and if used wrongly or iresponsibly then id hope you would get charged as such. Throwing and egg and shooting a gun are very different things.
  25. Dude, youll need to raise the suspension 10-15mm so they dont rub on the back guards of the 34.
