  2. The club is looking into this at the moment. Dates for the event will be released soon.
  3. Andrew, nah mate we only repair Tein, Koni and Bilstein. Reason is we can repair them with genuine manufacturer parts...not crap 'matched up' generic components.
  4. Paul's quote should be held on to....first and last time he is right
  5. Paul is correct. We send them back to Fulcrum to be repaired using all genuine Tein components. When they are returned, they will come with a warranty of the repairs. Hope that helps.
  6. Who cares how much insurance costs. If you cant afford insurance, you cant afford to drive a skyline!!! $1500 might seem a bit of money, but its a lot cheaper than the $60 000 HSV etc you will have to pay for when you hit it!
  7. Noise could possibly be driveshaft in the front.....of a GTST? If whenyou turn the noise is not as bad, id say wheel bearings. WHeel bearings can 'bruise' in an impact with a kerb etc and make some noises.

  14. Are you talking about the position of the steering wheel? If so, sounds to me like it might be a loose steering rack on the mounts. Could be caused by worn standard rubber bushes. Happy to take a look if you need/want.
  15. Exactly what tyre are you looking at? If its a true semi slick expect to get maybe a couple thousand km out of them. Heat cycles do affect as well so the tyre might actually be useless long before the tread depth is low.

  18. If your tyres are bald, why not just buy new ones and go over the pits. Its not like you dont need them anyway.
  19. This is 100% correct. Car went to pits for other reasons (Too lows, cracked windscreen and small stuff) and the inspector picked the locked bar and said it was not legal and a genuine rack needed to be fitted. I installed a factory hicas rack and the car was then passed. I think it was an isolated incident but be warned, it could happen if you get a certain inspector.

  23. Most cars that i get at work that need a new crossmember have normally hit a kerb at a fairly decent speed. There is NO way that you bent it on the bike. IF the crossmember is bent and IF the chassis rail is bent then id put money on it that the vehicle has had a previous incident with kerbs etc. Offer to pay for the bumper and clips and painting. Any damage you did would be purely cosmetic. The radiator support 'could' have been damaged, but as mention would have to be a decent hit. I would have thought to damage it you would have to hit it front on....i also would have thought you would have wound up IN the car via the front windscreen lol
  24. Dude if you were on a bike and hit the car and did that much damaged (Bent Chassis and crossmember) id expect you would be in hospital for quite some time and would doubt youll ever walk again. Your being conned. I think by law there needs to be 3 quotes done? Get the car to a panel shop you know and have them quote it. If they keep going with this, being a car park i think you can deny any liability. Oh and a couple places to ry would be Alpha 1 Panel, Bowra Panel.
