Vehicle models may bit a little bit inaccurate, but the main thing is colour and model being 32,33,34,N15 etc I have also just heard back that Franz wont be instructing...its outside our control, but he did try. However, im sure the instructors we get will be good. Ive done heaps of these training days and so far i have not found an instructor that hasnt been able to help me in advancing as a driver.

Is the vibration throught the steering wheel or the whole car? Might pay to have a check of the ball joint, steering rack ends and tie rods.
-
Tezzah and Wogan, swap confirmed.
-
Yeah that would be hard to explain. Just out of curiousity, when it shakes are you cruising or touching the brake pedal?

Who Can Paint My Rocker Covers And Front Cover?
R DIRTY 3 replied to Gav's topic in Western Australia
Obviously trying to pick up some work -
+1 Dont paint it black. It will make it looked like you damaged it and are too cheap to paint it white

At this point i believe so. I spoke to him on the weekend and he didnt see any problems with being there...however, things can come up which may restrict him from being there.
-
Who ever swaps with who let me know so i can alter the list. Send me a PM please with the details of the swap.

Ok...that aint it then. Get the wheels balanced properly on a machine that locates at the studs, not the centre of the wheel. While its on the balance machine spinning, look at what the tyre does and how much movement is in it. You may find if its a tyre from the the cheaper end of the market, that it is not 100% round. That will cause it to.

Id say you have aftermarket wheels that do not locate to the hub correctly therefore they are not on completely central...that will give a shake over 100kph

You need a new social group! LOL

I dont know what budget he has on the build (including the car purchase) so its hard to say. A modded lancer is normally deemed a teenage girl thing. I understand he wants to do as everyone else does, but everyone else gets taken as a joke to. My thoughts would be an R32 or R33 N/A are rather cheap these days...and being N/A insurance etc shouldnt be too bad. Maybe some of the guys here with N/A's or had N/A's could shed some light?

Quality work is worth the drive there. I live in Ellenbrook and always happy to drvie the hour and a half to get there. It doesnt take long to get the work down so get it down, then go for a coffee or something in Mandurah and drive back home. Make a day of it

**NOTE THIS IS FOR THE MORNING SESSION** Hey guys and gals, We have booked another Driver Training day on the skidpan at the AHG Facility in Kewdale!! Please make sure you read and understand all requirements before signing up to this event. Getting there on the day and saying you didnt realise the requirments and are not prepared (not having a helmet etc) will result in you being excluded and no refund will be given. So make sure you know what you need to have!! The training is held in a controlled environment on a skidpan with an instructor. We have paid for two instructors so everyone gets more time training (otherwise a lot of time is lost while the instructor changes cars). I am unsure who the instructors will be at the moment (most likey 1 will be Franz Estebauer), however i have done several of these days and recommend any of thier instructors. You will do a variety of motor kahna style challenges, which aim to teach things like handling of your vehicle, braking, driver seating postion and several other techniques. HELMETS ARE REQUIRED - AHG no longer have any so you must supply your own helmet. When - Saturday 13th December (MORNING) Time - 8.00am SHARP - 12pm. Driver briefing is at 8.30pm so BE ON TIME!! Cost - $75 for SAUWA Members. $85 for non SAUWA Members Where - AHG Driver Training Facility. Grogan Road Perth International Airport Please note this is primarily member's only event. Places will go to members first and if there are any left, non-members can attend at full charge ($85) There are only 16 spots available so please PM me if you wish to participate and I will send you my bank account details - as you will need to pay within 7 days to confirm your spot. (First in first served basis sorry). I will not be chasing people up for payments. If you have not paid within 7 days, your spot will be cancelled and given to someone else. I understand some people may need some time to get funds together etc and that fine, we can work something out if you let me know when you send me a PM. When you send me your PM to confirm your spot, please give me your full name, and what model car you will be driving (preferably colour and model) so a running list can be prepared for the day and it will also make it easier for us to work out the order on the day. Your name will NOT be added to the attendees list unless you PM me, this means I won't be taking names down from people just posting in the thread. Driver/Vehicle requirements Long Sleeve top, long pants required Helmet Fully enclosed foot wear Drivers Licence Car to be registered with no safety defects Seatbelts both left and right hand side front All loose items removed from inside the vehicle Road legal tyres (no slicks) If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. As i work during the day i will pretty much only respond to PM regarding this in the evenings so if you dont get an instant reply, dont panic. Cheers Brad 1. Tezzah (Terry) R32 (PAID) 2. Spectors ar enot only welcomed, they are encouraged! Please come along anyway. As for your brakes, its not a really high speed type setup so std brakes will be fine. Top speed will probably be around 90-100kph. Plus, its not a race, so no need to put unnecassary pressure on yourself or the car.

Nathan, is he a SAUWA member?

A morning session has been arranged aswell. Just sorting the smaller details to it and i will post it up probably tonight. Pat and Tezzah, you guys will instantly be added to the list. If guys want to swap morning/afternoon etc then by all means thats fine, but sort it amonst yourselves and let me know so i can edit the lists to suit.
