I have used Federal tyres for many years and for the time i was managing parts sales in a local dealership they were a top choice. However in recent times the quality of the tyre is suffering. I purchased a set for my own car (toyota Hilux) as was told i would get 80,000km out of them so i fitted them up. A week later my car had problems and went off the road for over a month. In this time we noticed the sidewall was peeling apart. Upon further inspection, turns out all 4 are peeling on the inside and outside. Rang the Federal distributor...no help at all. Basically they wont be crediting or repalcing them under warranty as the damage is "mostly likely Under inflation, over Inflation and/or kerb damage". (on all 4, inside and outside????) Now this could be fair comments...except the vehicle has not seen any serious off road (maybe 20km on sand at best) and total km is maybe 1000km as the rest of the time, it was literally on blocks. Upon doing some research, i am not the only person in perth to have such problems. So if i have been using them for years, spent a hell of a lot of money with them and still get the cold shoulder with an issue....what chance do you have if you buy a set a year etc. Maybe save your self the hassle and look around for another brand to use these days. Very disappointed in a product that once was fantastic Rant over

This the one near the Shell Servo??? Dale the drive is awesome. As i did Perth to Mt Isa in a truck only a month or so ago i could not encourage you harder to do this! Make sure you stop at the usual spots like border village for photos with Rooey II and Kimba for the big galah (might be a bit off the road for a car route....follow the truck route through town ) Id post pics up but they are too big apparently

Not quite. The silhouette (body) will be based on the Nissan Ultima. The engine will be a nissan factory design, however dont get too excited....it will be a 'complying' engine. That is to say it has to have 8 cylinders, it has to have xxxx displacement, it has to have no more than xxx hp, it has to run x fuel etc etc etc....so it will basically be an engine design equivilent to both the holden and ford are running now

Exactly. Which does produce some good racing.....its not uncommon to have to races, and 10 different winners while having 40 different race leaders. As long as they dont start oval tracks...ill probably follow the sport lol

Youll need 4wd, personal accomadation (Swag, tent, back of ute), fishing gear, 3 tanks of fuel, food for as many days as you plan to be there. And beer is sacred! You can use another mans fishing equiptment, you may even sneak a slice of bread or 2 and a piece of bacon....but on that beach, you touch another mans brew...you may not leave the beach. Just sayin. Ill keep you informed of dates once i know....but most likely, end March

So, what site are you on? I ask so I can make sure that when I do a hotshot run in a Road Train (which requires MC license) I can stay well away from your site. How can they allow drivers in dump trucks with only a car license....and if they teach that "its the same as a car just with more blind spots" then Damn!! Which dealership do you work for? Im in a dealership over here in Perth and your right that all the 'specials' and 'deals' you get caught up in.....well, you (the customer) pay for it somewhere
