  1. That would actually work better. Dan, you are the Man, its true.
  2. lol yeah what Dan said! Dont call in sick....call in dead! they wont expect you to work if they think your dead
  3. I guess after the game we are having drinks then. lol Where???? is there a bar there or something???
  4. *Shrug* Think it will take hour to an hour and a half to play (depending on how many people have to spend extra time recovering lost balls), then after that drinks if any one was planning that. Ive not officially planned drinks after but its beentalked about. However, i am keen for drinks
  5. If you can get there by 2.30, and we put you in the last group, you may still stand a chance. I can talk to them and let them know you will be late. Might miss the first hole or 2, which will put you out of the running to win a kitten LOL Up to you dude. Let me know if you want me to talk to them.
  6. HA HA your joking right??? surely it didnt have retreads? lol
  7. The KYB Shocks will work fine with an aftermarket spring as long as its not Super super low or anything. Keep the lowering subtle to around the 1 inch mark. Obviously there is much better to make the car handle etc, but for normal daily driving they will be fine.
  8. Been thinking about it Gav, as your competing against me, i reckon the best thing for you is Wanli Retreads. Some grip and CHEAP!!!
  9. Yes you can purchase them yourself from whiteline or where ever is local (Whiteline or superpro brand will be your best options) Fitting them with out a press would be difficult. Normally where i work if people buy them from me and bring me their castor rods, we will press them in free, then send them off to put them back in the car. We sometimes even have exchange rods so ring around and see if anyone local to you is doing this sort of deal.
  10. Gavin, I use the Bridgestones (SR) and they do work very well. I am in the middle of working a deal that will see me on a set of Yokys. Ill let you know how good they are. The Federals are a good sticky street tyre, but as used on our other car our times around the MC courses has dropped 2 seconds.
  11. Hey guys, So far we have 16 confirmations (15 adults, 1 Jnr) (Mr Thrilla, i have added you to this, dont know if you have paid yet??) They will be hitting my credit card later today for the full payment. If anyone else wants in best to contact me asap. Contact best via SMS or call 0402 507 738. (dont leave voice mail, i never check it lol) Thanks Brad
  12. In my opinion these coilsovers are a bad choice for you no matter what cost they are. The rates are way way to strong for a daily driven car. You may be able to change the rates, but to drop to where you need it to be you will have to do a revalve aswell. Its all just money of course. Alternatively, find something more suited to what you are using the car for with softer rates. Tein super street'a are designed for road and club truck use if you are definately wanting a japanese coilover.
  13. I know their springs are very good. Made with the same material and process (Cold Wound) as the EIBACH Springs. Shocks i have knowledge on.
  14. If you buy the secondhand HA Teins, chances are in the long run it will cost you more than 2k anyway because you will change the coils to get a softer rate, then they will leak etc due to age, so a rebuild will be required and the spending continues!! Buy something new that you know will last especaially with the KM you are covering. Bilsteins should be good for at least 150,000+km before due to replace.
  15. I have just ordered a hybrid kit. Would love to help you but busy all weekend sorry. Would like to have a look sometime when its fitted. Where you get it? how much???
  16. Hey Dan, how about the winner of the Golf day wins 2 kittens?? lol
  17. I always use Genuine Nissan. They work better than most aftermarket, and they dont cost a much different to off the shelf supercheap or what ever.
  18. Ill tell my kids about them tonight. Wont tell the wife, she will say no.
  19. I have a high pressure Kartcher if that helps lol Topaz, Ill be here, see ya then.
  20. Niz, Yes it is still happening. Looks like could be quite a good arvo. Still just waiting on a few people's payments. Paul, you planning on getting pissy before, or after you have played golf? lol
  21. Not Australian Spec. Im sure if you check his part numbers youll see. Also i think they come with pillow ball upper mounts? If so, get ready to continue to spend money as on a street car, they wont last too long (6 months, Maybe 12?).
  22. NOOOO dont spend it all on hookers, guns and cocaine! Only spend about 5grand in this area. Seriously though, to invest it you can still get units/flats etc for under $180,000. Might be worth a look. I got my house sorted first before i bought a skyline.
  23. Lucky they only go in a straight line.....I reckon they would understeer due to lack of front end grip!
  24. Where is the Mash Brewery????
  25. I would always pay a higher labour rate to guys like Ken or Jash to work on my car for a discounted price on parts. A high labour rate is not just for the fancy signs out the front of the building, its also the experience, and the use of their equipment you are buying, and as Jash mentioned loyalty to people these days is quite highly rated. Most places quote retail on email (I do) as most emails are not taken overly serious. ALOT of emailers are keyboard warriors with nothing better to do than get quoted on work they have no financial meansor intentions to get, which is just a waste of time for the company. My thoughts are, if you dont like Ken or the way he does business, and you cant go to his shop and sit down face to face and chat to him in a civil manner about the quote or problems you are having, then you dont really have a place to bag him out, especially publicly. Oh and for the record, I have never used used Ken. Thats just my thoughts.
