I have them. I liek them. They are not harsh to ride in, they handle very well. My car is used for local motorsport events and is very competitive. The adjustments are quite good and give a good range. I dont run mine in the lowest possible height, i run it about 350mm. Dont have it bottom out unless hitting a really big bump. Plenty of travel in both directions. Just my 2 cents. Regards R Dirty 3

Tein Height Adjustables
R DIRTY 3 replied to Mark-R33's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Just a passing thought. The newer Tein C Spanners have the option to put a big socket breaker bar on them to get more levereage. They are expensive though. Maybe $80 a pair. See if any one local has some yhou can borrow. Regards Brad -
Jaker, calling "potential customers" knobs is not really fantastic service. Some people here know what i do for work. So trying to define custom to me is a waste of your breath. As for your discounting of prices etc, while it is good for the average person who can pick up a bargain, it does not do any good to the industry as a whole. (not that that matters to most ) And it comes with no service before or after to buy from repco. I am still waiting on some parts from repco that were left out of a full kit. When i ring, all i get told is it is being sorted out. 3 weeks to sort a problem? i think not so i returned the item. At least with a suspension shop like Wilkinsons if there is a problem, it is solved there and then as quickly as possible in the workshop with parts they stock on the shelf. For those who know me, will understand that i am not saying wilkinsons are the best!! ha ha I know skylines just as well as you. I own 1, i race one very competitivly at various venues. For me to sell my service i dont need to discount. My customers come to me because of the service and advise, not the price of the product. Just my reply Jaker Regards Brad p.s. Jaker, i am not trying to start a running debate/argument with you. Just putting in my 2c about your comments.

Jaker, Does repco fit? Does repco align? Can repco tell me the spring rates? Can repco give me any details at all of the EXACT result of the "Custom King Springs"? Can Repco design me a set of springs to my EXACT requirements? To say your better than "any sespension shop" is a very big call, especially when you struggle to even spell Suspension correctly. My suggestion if you definately want King Springs, off the shelf or custom, would be to contact Wilkinson Suspension as they have been the distributor for kings for a lot longer than repco. (and happen to be a SAU Sponsor) Just my 2c Regards Brad

I can help you with a set of Tein S Tech coils if you would like. They lower approx 30mm. How low were you planning on going? If you want any more info PM me. Regards Brad

Rear sits lower just the way the guards are cut. Look at a VN Commodore. Rear can have a ride height 50-60mm lower than the front. Measure the sil panels and it will probably have a fairly level height. Just my 2cents. Regards Brad

My guess is that the castor bushes you have had installed are the adjustable ones. It would seem to me that they have given a castor difference left to right to stop the "pull left". To me they have done the correct thing. As for the rubbing, are the wheels larger than standard? Maybe get them to change the castor on that side a touch to get it away from the body work. Just my thoughts. Regards R Dirty 3

I agree the NV series is a little bit "done to death". If you want to represent fast or something, [FAST33] [KWIK33] [FASTA33] [RACIN33] there could be heaps. Sam none of the ones i have mentioned are taken, you are welcome to them if you like them. I was going to use [sKYRINE] but went with something else instead. They will look good if the licensing department ever actually gets them to me!!! 4 to 6 weeks my as* !! Regards RDirty3

How about something like "SKYRINE" or "33 2NV"? Just a thought Regards R DIrty 3

Lukits, the set up you have is what i am chasing. All 4 tail lights top come on, and get brighter with brake.

I have an R33 Gts-t Series 2. When i put the lights on only the 2 outer lights light up as tail lights, and when i put my foot on the brake only the 2 inner lights light up. Most that i have seen have all 4 light up for tail lights and brake lights. Is this easy to make happen? Any hints or previous thread information would be great. Regards R Dirty 3

Exact Parts To Correct Front Camber
R DIRTY 3 replied to ix9's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Just thinking about it, are you sure its camber and not toe? Bad toe setting can cause tyre wear issues. Do you have a alignment printout?? Regards R Dirty 3 p.s. PM Sent -

Exact Parts To Correct Front Camber
R DIRTY 3 replied to ix9's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Id be a little cautious using Nolathane for that. Too hard compound? speaking, noisy etc? Never used them for that but have not liked them for too many other applications. Regards R Dirty 3 -

Stritch, I use Super pro camber adjustment bushes on the front. Little bit expensive as the kit comes complete with tubes, sleeves and bushes. If you want to know more about it or want to have a look at the kit let me know. How bad is the camber now? what reading? Standard height should not give too much problem. Regards R Dirty 3
