Well today out of curious went to my local JBHI, and decided to put both the units to a few tests . Main thing bought a disc full of AVI's, MPG'S AND DVIX to test on these units. Mind you these discs all worked perfectly fine on my PS3! Neither the SONY OR SAMSUNG BLU RAY players would play any parts of the DISC! I couldn't believe it. To my conclusion i personally think like many of you above PS3 sh%ts all over both the blu ray players. Reason being plays a variety of raw formats. I personally thought at least the sony blu ray player would play AVI files but it didnt. Disgusting SONY! Now guys where can i get a cheap brand new PS3! Still searching for that 40gb brand new one for $397 if anyone knows where i can get it from

Thanks champ, changed it to 85hz. Also bought a new set of splitters only cost $9, the previous ones i used had been sitting around for a while from my old install, should of been fine thou. It seemed to do it trick. Perfect bass. No voices! Yes! Im not crazy after all! lmao. Thanks again.

Im in Thomastown, was working on the car with my old man when everything just started shaking. Never felt anything like it before. We were actually in the car and it felt like a lowrider! hahaha. Hey guys, Just bought a JVC KD-AV7100 installed it today, works all perfect very happy with the unit. But i couldnt connect the amp correctly to the deck. Reason being is the sub rca only has one input, where there is also a additional rear and front rca's one being red and the other being white. I bought a spitter which goes from my current rcas from the amp which connect to one and go into the deck sub/rca but the sound sounded like POO, and could even hear some vocals coming out. Might be a stupid question but what is the correct way to connect it so i can use my sub control button on the deck. Cheers guys! I know this will be a problem someone can help me with

Also check if it has a sub control. If your going to run the speakers off the head unit and just add a sub and amp, sub control is vital, or else the bass will overpower the treble in most cases. Plus who can be stuffed always changing the bass output manually on the amp. But main thing is just check if it has RCA's like said above. Btw Alpine much better than MTX just from previous experience. More bang for your buck!

I recommend a awesome amp. MRD-1005 Alpine which they dont stock anymore but is tops cause its a 1000rms mono block amp which means you can always add another 500rms sub into the mix, and in the meantime still run your 1xType R Alpine to potential but always be sure to set your gains correct. Cause you dont want a popped sub. Another good amp which my friend is using and it pumps is http://www.alpine.com.au/products/product.asp?modelID=374 at 500rms at 2 ohm you will love the sound of that type r. And prices are much cheaper at jb than alpines site. So for under $1000 ull have nice clean,crisp bass.. Just my oppinion thou, hope it helps.

Pod + Hot Air = Worthless Pod + Cold Air Boxed = Magic!!!! Spent the whole day working on it. Boxed up the pod and got a 3inch flex pipe from the front guard into the stock intercooler hole. The difference amazing.Ill try post some pics up soon. Btw its on a 34, but i guess you could use the same concept. I couldn't believe the difference.

For $398 i think the best bet is buying another ps3 then lol. Is there any blu ray/dvd recorders out or they out of my price range? How would say a sony blu ray player matches up to a ps3 in dvd playback wise any difference.

Also does anyone actually own any of these models how they find using them? Do they play AVI,MPG,DVIX direct of dvd's cause i get sick of converted to dvds lmao.. I Can get both models at about $500 each. There both the same price. If theres anything better at my budget of about $500and below please let me know. Thanks everyone.

Anymore hotspots guys I know its a old post but saves me from typing up another one I've tried under the west gate Williamstown side last week. Caught about 3 brim off shrimps but you cant eat the fish from there I've heard, but not worth it lol. Don't think theres anything decent there. Also tried Werribee South off the boat pier not even a bite. Also tired schnapper point caught a little banjo. Best luck we've had so far is in rye off the boat thou. Caught about 10 flatheads and about 5 banjo's in about 1 hour. Good fun. Also barwon heads off the beach caught a few small whiting. Nothing to brag about .... Please someone guide me to a good spot cause im sick of catching nothing lol.... Also what bait you used would be great...... Saltwater/ Freshwater doesnt bother me. Cheers!!!
