Really depends on how much money you want to spend. It would probably cost more to have the bottom end rebuild than it would be to buy a second hand short block and bolt that up. Although if you had the cash you could have it rebuild with forgies...
I want to know if someone can help me out. I want to replace the red and silver GT badges on the fenders of my R32. Just Jap sell R33 ones and I want to know if they will fit on my car. Apparently the R33 badges have pins on the back for allignment purposes. Has anyone removed their R32 side badge? Do R32 badges also have these pins? I want to replace my badges because they are stratched and have paint missing. This is a picture of an R33 badge:
I am another who has this same problem. I found this searching the net. I dont know how relevant it is but I will try anything to make my car easier to start when its cold. "Now, from what you describe you should check the plugs first to see if you have a leaky injector and that could be the cause of the no start condition when cold. Pull the plugs and if you find one or more that are especially black you have found plugs that are running rich. What is probably happening is that the injectors leak down on those cylinders when the engine gets cold and then it makes them hard to start. " What do you think ppl?
you can either use a metric feeler gauge. or a spark plug gap tool. then just make sure the gauge is set to 0.8mm and put it in the gap between the spark plug. you'll have to tap the top of the plug on something if the gap needs to be closed a little
