  1. Hahaha was about to say, Im sure it wouldnt be too hard to make one silver with a spray can...
  2. Hi Mitch, Mine was only around $80 (reduced from $120). To be honest, for around that much you really cant go wrong. As I bought it from a large motorbike store, they had around 5 or 6 different models in a price bracket ranging from $70 to around $150 if I recall correctly. So yeah, basically I tried all of them on and went with the one that gave me the best fit (and it just so happened to be very reasonably priced ) All in all, I think its money very well spent. Go to a handful of track days and its paid for itself anyway considering you'd be looking at $20 or so to hire one. And this way you have one that you already know fits well, that you know the history of (ie it hasnt been dropped or abused by other people who've hired it), and you don't need to worry about finding one to borrow each time you go. Hope that helps mate
  3. One quick question regarding prep for track days: Is it worth removing the backing plates behind the brake discs to aid cooling? This is for a relatively stock R33 GTST going to Wakefield by the way. (Also going to be putting in new Lucas pads and bleeding with some Motul 5.1)
  4. Volk TE37 or CE28Ns would both be lightweight options that Id say would be available in those sizes... Only problem would be finding a set that is in that size and is *also* the right stud pattern...
  5. Maybe have a search for pics of a stock R34 GTRs wheel, and see if you can tell how much clearance there is between the bigger 18' rims and if you think thered be room behind 17s... As for caliper clearance, you seem to have a fair bit with those rims so I doubt there would be a problem
  6. Hahaha yeah +1 for last pic being awesome Looks tough!! Any reason for keeping the carpet by the way? Just curious!
  7. Yeah Id say so, you only mean 10' wide on the rear right?

  14. Yeah theyd be a little small wouldnt they? Two SR20 T25 or T28s would be a better choice, no? Not sure if theyd fit but...

  18. What do you want out of the car? Whats it used for, street, track, drags, drift, a mix/combination? Do you have a power goal that the turbo will need to flow? What sort of response are you after?
