porsche 911 engine in a combi has been done.Was in one of those road races that people do..forgot what its called. A V8 or 2jz in a nsx would be awesome!

about the calibration of the speed gun,used by the officer..do you have to right to ask them for the re-calibration papers for it?as I was told that the gun must be calibrated or at least checked everyday and logged.If you get caught,you can ask for those papers..if theres none,then the fine may be void if you were not too far over the speed limit. I think it applies here in nz..just wondering if it does there too.

good to see the new gtr set a better time,sure would love to see the look on the Porsches face. I download that vid onto my computer and got another of Aryton Sennas nephew (hes a formula 3 racing driver,i think) driving a porsche and GTR around a track and the GTR winning again.And he was deeply impressed with the GTR

how about this...what would you say to a gtr being badged as a gtst? I bought a gtr (the rear badge was screw-drivered off..sadly) and people used to hassle me to race them at the lights or do burnouts etc etc.I then decided to put a gtst badge on the rear.And I get less people hassling me now. I remember this topic being brought up years ago on SAU..and also remember what one of the members said.A very different answer to what everyone had said relating to how gtsts being badged as gtrs.I'll try my best to rephrase what he said. With the greater number of gtsts or gts4s etc etc being badged as GTRs..those not in the know (bloody car thieves!) would be stealing the wrong cars,thinking its a gtr. So wouldnt that be a good thing for the real gtr owners?..

i got that video on my comp..its amazing what he has done.How many people in this world do you know has done something like that? I think thats also real car passion on his part!

first car I bought was a r32 gtst coupe.Learnt to drive on it too..was heapsa fun lol.Got thrashed,broken into,near accidents,LOSING TRACTION so bad in the wet lol.Sold it for $1K Since then had two more coupe GTST and GTS4,then a R33 GTS25T coupe in white and now the gtr. Skylines in my blood!

Oh man sorry to hear about what happened..I've seen mechanics take out the good bits in cars and replace them with bad,worn,or broken parts.Which,like some of the other guys,I try to do my car myself unless its too much. But thats nasty what that workshop did to you.Its good you are not displaying their name on here.(In NZ you'd be legally accountable for tarnishing any business names..duno about there lol)But would be nice to know the workshop so others can be know where to go you know. But hope everything goes alright aye..that they rebuild your engine for free and everything is settled.I know the horror involved in having a dead rb26..its not good!
