there the control ecu just like dunlop control tyre's what is the pepsi challenge ??? some sort of ray hall fanboi club ? also if im setting up a car and i want to run 1 dash 1 multi stage shift light 1 warning light 1 cdi unit 12 injectors 7 EGT's 2 lambda sensors 2 linear potentiometers on the rear shocks 3 wheel speed sensors 5 pressure sensors oil, fuel, map, nos,exhaust manifold 5 temp sensors oil, engine,before cooler, after cooler, gearbox 1 g force sensor 2 sensors crank reference sensor ,cam sync sensor and nos control for trans brake and the run will the vipec run this setup ???? ALSO what array of sensors does wedlock's car run for logging ??? if it's not a secret ? also

do they run track mapping ???? gps based ? V8 supertaxi's dont run M800's any way, they run M48's and use ACL's for logging ???

and i dont think you will see them change any time soon to LINK/ViPec as I dont think they have the data logging setup like motec and LINK ecu's have been easy to use for many years back in 02' the dyno shop in mt isa loved them they were so easy to use possum bourne was involved with link too

i know this is a vipec thread for fcuks sake, though i have one question since the masters of ecu's are here what is the difference between the "LINK" and "Vipec" ecu

this combo is a FUN street car too as i run a 25/30 in a 180 with a 35R intrested in going to the track soon for some fun !

does the ECU control the gearbox ??? or does a nissan computer still control that ? i read in the first post you were doing flat shift calibrations ? what controls downshift ? just sick of the keyboard hero's carrying on about the box's blowing up next the motors

straight cut dog box's are loud and no fun in traffic but great for racing fun if you dont have to pay for the rebuild

yep john does have his problems with cars first time he took out the silvia a selector failed 2nd time broke some bolts and the weekend engine mount thats cars for you though though johns sunday times blitzed the classic cars I've got the in car footage from classic adelaide 2000 when he won it awsome driving the menzies falcoon was keeping up with the focus too

S12 is sold he kept the motor box diff and 240RS works wheels FJ will go in the datto when he has time and it will run webbers as it was fuel injected in the s12

I was up ther on the weekend good time john spencer was doing good times on sunday after a misshap on saturday after some engine mount bolts came loose and damaged the oil filter sunday he set some good time running close to guests focus he loved the jump too 94kph he hit it at also has a FJ24 for the datto at the NZ rallys too

mr bolger has to spend a bit more now as his motor is feeling a little sad at the moment
