  1. sounds exactly like the fittings used for braid, get some pro flow bride and use that, but you will still have some petrol smell there.
  2. Problem is you need to use the line to suit the fittings. If they are push on fittings you can get away with using normal fuel hose. If they are for bride, you must use bride, and if you want to go to teflon bride you must use the fittings to suit.
  3. I used -6 for the coolant and -4 for oil lines. I could price it again this is what i used from memory from coolant block on motor 2 x -6 to m14x1.5 @14 2 x -6 14mm banjos (use std banjo bolts) @20 3 x -6 90 deg braided @ 35 3 x -6 straight braided @ 16 1 x -6 90 deg male male @20 Then the oil side i think out the block on motor 2 x -4 m12x1.25 @ 15 1 x -4 straight braided @ 20 3 x -4 90 deg braided @ 60 (billet) 2 x -4 M12 banjo @ 20 prices are approximates, but would be close. Be approx 500-600, i was able to get wholesale through speed flow as i buy heaps of this stuff so was alot cheaper, the 60 retail billet -4 goes to 35 wholesale. Only think you need to check is the metric threads as i cant remember if they are 12 10 14mm etc. This is only the lines under the turbos, the other coolant lines that go over the turbos i left metal.
  4. I made my own out of speed flow, fitted up pretty damn easy when i put my turbos back on. Also with a bit of thinking its easy to route them safely with out going too near anything real hot.
  5. just picked up the regular combo of 0.64 rear -5s, have then on with built motor in about 2 months.
  6. So.....who built it? What is done to it? Possibilities of failure are semi endless, incorrect assembly, incorrect clearances, losing oil pressure etc. Need to pull it down to have a look.
  7. Why do you need nismo afms? If you have a std computer you wont be maxing the std ones out. Also they are ok to tune, I tweaked the output voltage graph as at idle the voltage is so low hard to get enough fuel in there.
  8. not bad, that inlet temp correction giving you a nice hp whack too though.
  9. You will find rental on these type of things is huge, reason being its easy to abuse them. I looked into a jet ski a while ago when on a house boat.
  10. also depends on how loaded it is with timing
  11. autronic auto tune? Using a target AFR table speeds things up, but you still have to go over it manually and do ignition tables.
  12. i got from award, fitted my self and got a diff guy i know to rebuild the diff its self. all i can say this diff is TIGHT, loves to chirp everywhere you go!

tony at knight engines....3 month wait.
  14. how nice and flat it looks!!
  15. What is the opinion of putting some 15mm or so spacers under the cross member? I know it will work just dont want to stuff up the geometry too much.
  16. depends, how cold it is on the day etc.
  17. If it is strapped down from infront of the diff using the eyelets in front of the roller, then over the diff under the bar (the DD setup they use) as the car moves foward it is forced harder and harder into the roller as the strap acts as a type of wedge. Seems like a smart idea as the more power it makes, the more it wants to climb up but the harder its held in by the strap.
  18. I know that, but the way it was written it was talking the higher it climbs on the front roller the higher the number. I dont see any reason for the car to be on the rear roller as its not knurled, and furthermore is free spinning so not needed to read power.
  19. How does how high the car is on the front roller change the power output read?
  20. Honestly done worry about the latency, i put in 700cc sards into my normal power fc changed the latency and correction wouldnt start, changed latency back to stock and fired first time never had a problem.
  21. This is truth, when you compare price say, 700 to 1700, in the great scheme its nothing. Not to mention if it puts a hole in the side of your shiny new N1 block.
  22. if it was my motor, carillo, argo, pauter.
  23. Who is your builder? You have warranty on a 1000 hp motor? Where do i sign! Never heard of warranty on a race motor before.
  24. did you then click the find part number? Because thos numbers there arnt actual part numbers just a description, as they are both hubs for example.
