  1. come on man, some details, what does it include
  2. only need one, also if your using it to lock on the front, or lock out the rear, you must reverse the flow path depending on what one you choose. If you locking out the rear install it in the reverse of the flow direction on the valve.
  3. The custom muffler price is less then i thought it would be, i'm definitely looking into this for my skyline and other cars.
  4. Is the reason you got the custom made muffler because magnaflow only offer a center in and out item?
  5. seems its a common problem. I'm going to go see a shop here in Adelaide they said they stock the factory bilstein boots, and ill report back.
  6. Q Can I put the expander into the bore to check if the ends meet? A No, placing the expander into the bore only tells you its length relative to the top of the humps - these vary in height according to the expander design. The rails are supported on tabs near the ID of the expander and it is the diameter at this point that matters - and you can't measure that. Can some one explain that clearly to me?
  7. I'm bumping this topic back up. I just raised my car with new springs to 355/360 mm eyebrow height, and the same thing keeps happening. Does anyone know some actual dust boots that work?
  8. You might not get much help here, this is Australian. I could suggest goto freshalloy.com and goto their forums, they have a skyline section and its all American
  9. fitting web site
  10. yea weld them all up
  11. I always run coppers in my toy cars, work well. In my less tuned cars i go iridium etc as i CBF replacing all the time.
  12. the grex remote filter attachment comes in 2 variants, 2 ports just to goto the block, or 4 ports with thermostat that goes to clock and to oil cooler, i was just hoping for the latter
  13. Grex Remote Oil Filter Locator $150 this doesn't have inbuilt thermostat?
  14. What is the difference? and how do you tell them apart?
  15. there was a whole thread about the slight hesitation, have a search for it. No real conclusion but some people think grounding is the issue.
  16. Dont flush it, its a waste of time, its self bleeding system. Other then that im not sure someone else will have to give you some insight. Maby the hicas computer gone to shit creek with the jump start, but i wouldn't think so.
  17. Who cares about reaction time, you only worried about et?
  18. If you sleeve RB blocks do they lose strength? Even if say that are grout filled to bottom of the water pump.
  19. for the minimal cost and while engine can be line honed, i would do it if you want near 400 kw, even though technically you could possibly do with out it. Total cost would probably be approx 300 for studs and what 80ish for a line hone (need to ask you machinist this)
  20. Do you have any info to back this up? I done a quick google and it seems that its under a degree of twist in most cranks, and a good balancer is designed to reduce this twisting motion. Either way if it was more then a few degrees the crank would fatigue and fail.
  21. I bought 2 gtr boxes and a s13 box from jap import spares, anyway had then checked out quickly (read very f**king slowly don't get me started on these guys) by a gearbox specialist and one had some crunchy bearings in it, they swapped it over no questions asked, good service. I have found generally they are priced quite cheaply, sometimes their new stuff is a bit dear if you know other places to look but other stuff i got from there is well priced.
  22. Give it a go but every nissan mechanics are not exactly the pinnacle of brain power i have found.
  23. For comparison the 2JZ is 324Nm for the harmonic balancer bolt
  24. If you wanted i wonder if you could make a dummy solid starter motor or would it damage the teeth on the flywheel.
